Kane with Son and Moura/Zaha either side, and Dele making late runs would be pretty sexy.

Opposition couldn't mark them all.

At least this quietens all those nonsense “Spurs are actually better without Kane” takes.

Cause they’re nonsense.

Next season, he’ll be back fit, with a proper pre-season and a summer’s rest.

You mean rushing back for the England games.

But yes, you hear a lot of nonsense in football. But Spurs better without Kane is the pinnacle.

Yeah, he needs to forget about the England game in June. After the man City game he should have had an op on his ankle as its happening on a regular occurance every season now and must be getting weaker.

Just some irrelevant doctor giving an opinion who’s never meet Kane in his life. Honestly don’t believe his history had much to do with that injury. I think any player that suffered that impact would have been in trouble. It’s not like these injuries really happen because of an obvious weakness. It’s not like he is running then suddenly goes over on his ankle. Virtually all of them happen from a nasty clash or tackle. The fact he’s back usually after 4-6 weeks shows an operation is not needed and is always a last resort.

I caught the end of a segment on talkSPORT (i know) on Saturday morning with Tony Cascarino, he seemed pretty certain that Kane would be back for the 2nd leg next week. Where he had this info or hunch from I don’t know but there’s something fishy about the lack of info on his recovery. Could we be pulling a fast one?

Hmm. If Tony Cascarino told me his address, birthday and mother’s maiden name I’d still have to check. He’s a bellend who knows very little about anything.

I don’t think there’s anything fishy about it. I just think we’re all so desperate to have him back.

"Son-Hueng-min is a very good player who is important for us. Of course we'll miss him but we have others that can do a very good job. We are ready to do our best and hopefully we will have him and Harry Kane in the second-leg."

That's a quote from a presser with Lucas today.

The squad are obviously aware he has a chance of making the second leg.

As much as we played some good games without Kane earlier of the season, he would have made the difference in some games like West Ham when we really struggled offensively. When he wasn't scoring, he distributed the ball very well. We needed that.

It would be funny if true

I do think we are going tomorrow with the view we need to set the foundation for the second leg when we have our attack back and hammer Ajax

If Kane makes it back for the second leg, he genuinely isn't human. That's insane.
If he's fit there will still be a huge decision for Poch to make.

If he plays, has a shocker and we go out, we'll be wondering why Poch risked him if he's not ready. However if he doesn't play, or starts on the bench and we get knocked out, people will be wondering why we didn't start him.

If he comes back let’s hope he’s fit enough to play at a high level. We can’t carry him if he’s only at 60%. Although admittedly that’s better than Llorente.
