Any update on his recovery? Will he be available for U21 tournament? Or will he be held out until Spurs pre-season?

Mawson has been great for Swansea, one to watch I reckon.

And whatever happened to Will Hughes, he was linked to all the big clubs a few years ago, but seems to have gone off the wonderkid radar.

Will Hughes seems to have been a youth prospect for about 20years now.

I'm torn with Winks. Can see a very good player developing, but still feel we could do with another central midfielder unless Eriksen drops deeper next season?

Still think winks will end up further forward like a silva or coutinho .just not sure he has the physical capability for CM role in modern game .A d poch has showed he likes 2 really physically strong CM

The physical strength like Modric, Kroos, Pirlo and Veratti? It's only because we're used to having Dembele there than it seems a necessary attribute, but Winks has shown he can shield the ball and hold players off without pure brute force, but also has an incredible passing range and vision, could be a much more complete midfielder than Dembele if he continues to develop.

Might be just me but he look a bit different than 3 months ago; face feels more grown up and body frame a bit bigger too. Probably just me tho.

disagree --- Demebele, Victor, Winks and Dier sometimes + Onomah for cup games is fine particularly because there is emergency cover

Modric yes .pretty sure Kroos and pirlo are bigger than winks .No listen of course a slighter player can play there .xavi didn't do to bad .Maybe it's because he looks so boyish ,I feel he is still a bit to fragile for that role .But there's no doubting his ability .

It's very hard to see in the front 5 or 6 how we can improve .For me the only possible are having eriksen interchangeable with a pacey mane type player like a lemar .The only other position if you're being super critical is the Dembele position .In a completely ideal world I'd love someone with dembeles presence, but that could offer more assists and goals .But there's nobody I can obviously think of certainly not in EPL .Can winks offer us that ,I'm not sure I guess time will tell .

I wouldn't mind Winks getting some games over Dembele. Much better passer and a more dynamic player in general, which helps when we're looking stagnant.

Harry Winks is far from fragile!

I'm in exactly the same boat. I really rate Winks but still feel that we need another central midfielder unless Poch sees one of the AMs as capable of playing in CM for long stretches if we were to have injury issues (or unless Poch thinks Onomah is ready). As the squad currently stands we're in real trouble if one of Winks or Dembele picks up a long-term injury.

I don't think Winks' development would be handcuffed too badly if we brought in another CM. Dembele can't really complete 90 minutes so any time he started Winks would be in a position to get 30 minutes or so in a substitute appearance. In addition to that, he'd get all the domestic cup matches (and as good as we are there's every chance we'd go reasonably far in both) as well as slotting into Dembele's place in the rotation if Dembele picked up an injury (something that seems a near inevitability). It'd also give the new CM signing a season to bed in without being overly relied upon and ease the transition when we do eventually sell Dembele, which I think will probably happen soon given his fitness issues. In this scenario it would really be Onomah, not Winks, that loses out.
