Re the comparison of HW with LM.
Modric didn't get that many assists for us but he was the man who passed to the assister on numerous occasions. I can see Harry Winks being the same but also, as he progresses, he may make more assists though as well.

Considering the clubs and poch stock is so high.Buying a player from us is a bit like buying from harrods.Just for fun what’s he worth right now based on summer transfers?

Wilshere is a huge talent, but nowadays he only ever shows glimpses of it. He's at the wrong club to rescue his talent though. There's only one coach who could help him rescue his career and perhaps achieve his full potential, and that's our Mauricio. Now there's a thought.

Ewwwww

Seems like he picked up a knock, so hopefully nothing serious but won't be playing in the England friendlies.

Based on the extensive medical expertise I gained from watching multiple reruns of the entire series of M*A*S*H* as a kid, based on the replay it looks like it *could have been* a metatarsal.

That sounds bad, but he didn't seem too downbeat about it in his tweet, so hopefully not.

Was a twist/strain 2 weeks most likely and miss England.

https://thisisfutbol.com/2017/11/bl...man-winks-should-be-first-name-in-england-xi/

Leon Osman has sensationally claimed that Tottenham youngster Harry Winks would be his first name in the England starting XI.

The 21-year-old midfielder is enjoying a stunning season where he has cemented his position in Spurs’ team and also earned his first senior cap for the Three Lions.

He has capitalised on injures to Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama to impress in Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

The central midfielder is earning rave reviews for his technical ability and range of passing, which helped him earn a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s team.

Winks made his England debut at senior level in a 1-0 win over Lithuania and was scheduled to play during the current international break, but pulled out of the squad with an ankle injury.

BBC pundit and ex-Everton ace Osman has explained that the Spurs academy graduate would be a guaranteed starter in his England team right now and even drew comparisons with footballing legend Andrea Pirlo.

Osman’s statement seems remarkable when England also have the likes of Harry Kane, Gary Cahill, Marcus Rashford and Dele Alli as regulars.

“For me Harry Winks is the first name on that team-sheet at the moment,” Osman told BBC Radio 5 Live.

“He’s the guy who Italy had in Pirlo, I’m not saying he’s at that level yet, but he links everything up. He’s the guy who links the back and the front up.”

Not surprised that this cu&@ who tried to stitch Winks up is a Chelscum fan.

What a sneaky little spunktrumpeted wankpuffin. (Not winks obvs).

As above, it's no wonder players are so cautious with 'fans' when serpents like this are out.
