Must be a huge boost for him during a really frustrating year. Fingers crossed next season he has a bit more luck with injury and can kick on as there's a great opportunity for him to really compete for a starting place in our midfield.

We need him injury free playing regularly. Could be a very big asset to the team. Fantastic Academy product.

He’s a fantastic young player, who has already had a big impact on the team and bar injuries, I’m sure would have rediscovered his form and been a shoe in to make the World Cup squad

The rocky patch he had before the injury took hold of him, seems to have really affected peoples memory of what a talent he is.

Shoo-in.

A shoeing is what you get
after a match in the back alleys of Chelsea
or Tottenham High Road.

He really could be our starting midfielder next season if he comes back 100%

Not sure how I feel about that.

Friend from work (spurs fan) met Harry in Marbella last week, unsurprisingly he said he was a really nice, down to earth guy.

Asked about his injury, he said he's struggling so can't see him back for pre season.

He also asked about Kane and Harry said he aint going anywhere, he just loves the club too much.

This injury problem is really sad for Winks.

For him, for Spurs and I also think he’s exactly what England could have done with in this tournament.

Seems like a bizarre amount of information for Winks to disclose to a random. Surely he'd be advised to keep his injury status fairly under wraps

Can't agree enough with the England sentiments.

I was hoping for a really good standout season for Winks this time round. Be a real shame if he were to miss out on pre season.

I really believe he's going to be quite the player if we can get him injury free and a good run of games.

I was thinking this morning that Winks pre injury would have really been able to help this current England team. Someone that can take the ball in midfield in tight spaces under pressure. But I guess the same could be said for Wilshere if he weren't made of glass.

Anyway hopefully Winks comes back soon.

Just have to hope he can get his injury sorted. I would absolutely love it if he can nail down his spot next season, him and Onomah.
