Really hope he has an injury free season. Such an important year for him, he has the opportunity to stake his claim as our first choice CM. I fear that another disjointed and injury ravaged season might force us to look elsewhere.

Unrelated, but Oliver Skipp seems to have graduated from the Phil Jones School of Ridiculous Facial Expressions.

Thin? We have at least 2 quality players for every position
Could take a month or more to get our WC players up to speed in that month it's gonna look pretty thin. especially with injuries on top of that to Wanyama, Lamela, Winks, and a few others that may have figured due to the reasons highlighted above and that makes us pretty thin in CM and CB for fit players

Saw a mention that Winks and Onomah have "started to reintegrate back into first team training", anyone think that means they are fit enough to play on the opening game of the season or does that mean they are still a long way off?

Doubt they'll be fit for this weekend.

Started being the operative word, I think. Probably a few weeks off first team action I'd say.

I would love to see a midfield 3 of: Winks, Eriksen, and Dele against the bus parkers.

Loving Winks getting number 8, top stuff!

And happy KWP got a better shirt number too (number 16), although would have preferred he got 22, but that’s taken.

Just hope he's fit enough to wear it more times than the number on the shirt!!!
