His shooting wasn't good but the change was that he was actually shooting, which is new stuff from him. Everybody, even Kane, has made shots like that. I count it as a step forward.

Thought he really stepped up yesterday. Despite being quite small he's decent at the physical stuff. Passes the ball well, carries it well. All he needs now is experience and a new player or 2 to help him in there.

He's been playing out of position really, filling the void of a defensive midfielder. So pleased to see Dier back today so we can start seeing Winks get forward a bit more. Still needs work on his final ball but he has great appetite to get forward and make something happen. He scored today because he really wanted the win. Great character.

Yeah, finally having a true DM next to him will allow for more of what we saw after Dier came on. His movement to show for the ball is fantastic, he's really starting to consistently display an understanding on when to move the ball along or carry it forward, and his passing appears to be getting more and more crisp. Really excited for him, think he's going to be a really nice all-around midfielder for us for years to come.
