GOAT. And no one can tell me otherwise. Incredible. Incredible. Incredible. Love him.
Absolute Legend. I'll never qustion again.
Showed tonight why he is such a great player for us. Hope he never leaves
RM will target him in the next few days.
We are a paranoid bunch aren't we.
Seems like such a good guy too
He was out the door after Sherwood and Poch convinced him
Now they seem to have the biggest bromance
At it again...
I've never had anything other than complete confidence in the bloke. Best since Jennings.
He might make the odd error, like v Chelsea. For every error he makes he wins us probably an extra 15 to 20 points a season.
He had absolutely no right to save that Benzema header. But he did. And if you look, it actually appears that he realises he's gone the wrong way and swings his left foot towards the ball. Of course there was luck involved but to say it was all luck shows a basic lack of understanding of football. Much like Steve McManaman highlighting more that it was a miss then a save.
When your goalkeeper is your best player or even MOTM, that usually implies that things are going badly and you're getting dominated. That's not been the case with us but Hugo has now in three successive games pulled absolutely world class saves out of the bag at absolutely crucial moments to win us points. I thought his performance at the Bernabeu was impressive enough, but the save from Coutinho today was one of the best I've ever witnessed. From my seat in the ground I was convinced that was going in when he struck it, only for Hugo appear out of nowhere with a diving strong hand.
Genuinely world class.
It's the save that Seaman should've made.....
But he fucked it, the moustachio ****.
It's amazing because he had literally no run up, just launched in the air off the spot
The Daily Mirror have given Hugo's performance a 6/10. I thought he was MoM alongside Harry.
"Slow off his line on Salah’s goal. In fact, looked like he decided not to come."
The Daily Mirror know fuck all about anything.
stat doing the rounds that onlysimon minolet has made more errors leading to a goal then hugo...
i like that he's been saving with his feet more since the alonso mishap.
He also said that Deles goal was his second of the season (it was his third) so that shows what a professional reporter he is
Lloris has made one error leading to a goal in the league.
I know this is a Lloris thread - but watching that replay and seeing Sanchez immediately turn to beat Firmino to clear the rebound if Lloris had not gathered it in was
Its the small things that separate the good from the great. Sanchez is on his way to great.
Separate names with a comma.
