Back to his best today. Off his line quick and made some very important saves.
Didn't put a foot wrong.

I also witnessed him being a "captain" today on a number of occasions, and really giving players a bollocking for losing possession (which in fairness was every 2nd pass). It's a side of him we don't see enough.

noticed that as well - want to see more of it...well actually hopefully we win every game 10-0 but if standards slip it would be good to see Hugo pushing the group

Glad he had a good game. A couple of decent saves and a clean sheet. Think a little bit of a confidence boost for him.

I’ve said some shite about Lloris over the past few weeks and when he came running out of the box, I was already launching more verbals at him.

But i’m a tit. Much like Vertonghen, when he went through a really rough season with us, people got on his back and really tore chunks out of him; you wouldn’t have blamed him if he left us due to having absolutely no loyalty to the fanbase but as we all know, he stuck around and now he’s the best defender in the league and somehow incredibly happy at Spurs.

I think the same sentiment needs to be levelled at Lloris. When we were shit and he was bailing us out of games by himself and getting courted by Man Utd, Real Madrid and the likes, he could’ve happily left when his stock was high but instead he signed a new contract to stay with us.

I think it’s incredibly wrong to be throwing insults at our loyal players whilst you see Toby’s PR team in full flow over on social media, with all the replies saying “plz sign da ting toby, luff u xxxxx” ffs.

Major credit to Lloris. His performance against Watford and the save he made on the header against Newcastle tonight saved our season. I was very critical of him during his dip in form (and it would still be my preference that we bring in a young keeper like Lopez with the ability to actually provide meaningful competition to him), so I (along with many others) need to hold up my hands and give credit where it's due.

He’s an excellent keeper and he’s stepped up where it matters like a true captain. The leader of a successful era in the clubs history. Love Hugo.

2 full on world class saves in the first half, literally saving the season. Cool as a cucumber under pressure in the second. I love him.

Showed last night and against Watford what a top class keeper is.

Loved seeing him get angry at our outfield players for the slow build up play in game he first half. Exactly what a captain has to do when needed.

He is back to his old self. If he was playing like this before the semi he would have played. Poch was only loyal to vorm because lloris was looking a bit shaky at the time

I understand your point but never in a million years should have Lloris not started ahead of Vorm....Thats in the past...
The save the other night was just world class...De gea does that and the world melts !
