One drink can also send you over the limit.

What I mean is what affect does one drink have on you? If no affect then what is the point? and if it does have an affect then you shouldnt drive after one

I see so many people have half a pint, or one bottle etc and im there just thinking what? I love Uber and use it everywhere.

You're assuming that people just drink alcohol so it has an effect on them. Some people just like the taste, or feel more comfortable in a social setting with a pint in their hand.
One pint can put you over the limit, but if you have your drink at the start of the night then most people will be ok.

I'm not judging, I drink like the best of them (although I am a lightweight ha) but if I know I'm gonna have one then I'll get an uber. Don't put yourself at risk of any kind.

For what it's worth I don't think loris was hammered or had more than say one drink, but that's the risk.

I would ban him for three games but i definitely wouldn't strip him off his captaincy, this doesn't warrant that type of punishment

There speaks (/types) someone that has never drunk alcohol-free beer or wine... :yuck:

What the feck's all this talk of dropping him for matches.

Yes, the club should punish him, but I suggest in detriment to our on-field ambitions is not the route the club would, nor should follow.

Extra voluntary work in the community and a fine, nicely finished off with a good old fashioned Wedgie.

Poch isn't dropping Lloris in a million years, that's not his style...some of our fans are drama queens lol.

Eh? He dropped half the squad over off-the-field issues back in his first season. Just because he's since had the time to weed out the characters he doesn't like I wouldn't exactly rule out him doing the same again.

Not saying he will drop him but Rose and Alderweireld last season were both fit and both dropped, two players who had been our best performers in the season before.

You mean in 2014 when they were under performing lol?

Not quite the same thing...

Again there's a difference...they weren't 100% committed to the team where as Lloris is captain and has the full respect of his manager.

It'll be dealt with by the club but dropping him for one of the most important matches of the season won't be in his ideas.

I hate beer and wine is for a date (which has been a fucking while arghhhh. Non alcoholic stuff though is admittedly shite.

I'm more a spirit drinker... Which perhaps explains why I don't drive if I'm having one as spirits are naturally stronger and would definitely tip you over the edge...

I don't think you realise how close the two are. They're friends as well as professional colleagues. Poch will vent his disappointment and anger at Hugo behind closed doors for putting him in that position - but he's not going to be dropped and he won't strip him of the captaincy. The only way Hugo loses the captaincy - is if he says to Poch "I feel you need to take the captaincy from me, I will step down."

If Hugo feels his position as captain is now untenable and that he being captain will cause the club problems and be detrimental to the team - he will step down himself. Poch will respect his position. If he feels he can carry on in the role - he will continue. We can't underestimate how loyal he has been to us since 2012 and how much he is respected by all our players.

Hugo and Poch will know what is best for the team.

They wouldn't charge at 36mcg there is still leeway

It's not really 'leeway'. The instructions used to be that at 39 and below would not be charged. It was not optional. I don't think it would have changed in the 17 years since I was involved in all that!
