It's not really 'leeway'. The instructions used to be that at 39 and below would not be charged. It was not optional. I don't think it would have changed in the 17 years since I was involved in all that!
Yeah I meant leeway in that the law states 35micrograms and charging threshold is 40

I don't see why Hugo needs to be removed as Captain.

Tony Adams once crashed his car into a wall, when 4 times over the limit, and served jail time, and they ended up making a fucking statue of him.

Because if we're no better than the fucking scum then what on earth is the point?

I would honestly expect Hugo to step down as Captain voluntarily. A captain is supposed to lead by example and be someone younger players in the organization look up to. And quite honestly he has failed on both counts. Earn that right back, and in the meantime we have a ready made alternative.

One thing is for sure though, when he do step out on the pitch again. Every Spurs supporter should be behind him.

He has to play if fit to play. If it was kane we couldn’t drop him. Bad for Hugo but it takes away some limelight from the new stadium debacle.

He’s started the season so well. It’s arguable that we wouldn’t of won both our opening games if he hadn’t made important saves at important times. Really annoying in that respect.

Hugo is human apparently. When one of us has lived the perfect life perhaps we can criticise Hugo for this one relatively minor mistake.

Yeah we're struggling. 3rd, 2nd, 3rd in the last few years. One of the best managers in Europe - world class keeper and striker. Won 2 out of 2 and will beat a struggling Man Ure side on Monday. Batten down the hatches, it's desperate times.

He’s gone and done it, i will hold you personally responsible if we lose on Monday now.:cautious:

The Sun saying today that he’s going to play tonight. Guesswork probably but I think it’s also the correct decision. The captaincy is an interesting one I’ve no idea what will happen with that or the psychological effect on Lloris for having it taken away if that happens.

Why wouldn't we play him?

Unless you think he should be sacked outright, the biggest losers in not playing him would be the team.

(We'd still be the biggest losers if you're in the 'sack him'-camp, but you know what I mean)

Hugo is no Adams

Hugo has been a model professional and model person all his life

And until we know the full facts we shouldn't judge, maybe he was half a drink over, that's not the same as driving into a house hammered out your face like Donkey Adams was is it?
