He ought to have a celebratory drink - he has a lift home after all i am presuming

He was excellent and the first half save (or was it second half) was very good

Poch didn't drop him nor did he strip him of the captaincy.

If that doesn't tells you what he and presumably the other players think of Hugo then you're not paying attention.

Gave him a huge hug a the end as well which was nice to see, so much respect between the two, lovely to see.

This moment shows class from Pochettino. Lloris have gone and fucked up real bad. He is shown faith by Poch and he takes that opportunity and he does not let him, the club and us the fans down. Top class last night!

Drop him they said. Strip him of his captaincy they said.

I am glad none of these righteous pricks are managing Tottenham because thats not how you deal with the situation. Couldnt have been handled better by Poch.

I swear they think real life is the same as management mode in FIFA or dream team. They seem to forget these are actually real people who have to be man-managed correctly.

I'm glad he was not stripped of the captaincy, i hope that also pissed of all those supposed goody goodies who act like they have never done a thing wrong and all footballers should be role models and act like robots. That crap annoys me.

He is a normal person in an abnormal job, thing is that all people fuck up and should be given another chance.

Yep, everyone makes stupid decisions but they're just not highlighted in way people in spot light are.

He'll be punished accordingly by the law and no doubt Poch probably did tell him he'd been a silly boy (which he knows) and it should be left at that.

Hopefully he'll be sent to a drink-driving awareness course and shown the danger of drink-driving and victims of it plus do some community service.

I'm sure his squeeky clean past and level of maturity made this a special case and Poch wouldn't have needed to say much. I would imagine the club will make some PR gesture with him to sort it out. Maybe a donation to a charity or some PR work with an Anti drink drive charity to make it right.
