DAN KP just retweeted this:

Police found vomit in the car when arresting Hugo Lloris. He ran a red light, and was seen veering towards parked cars.

"Officers say his speech was slurred, and he was unstable on his feet. Also reveal there was another passenger in the car."

He was pissed out of his head..what a complete moron.

What a waste of 100 pages of saying he was probably 1 glass of wine over

Oh come on, who hasn't done that after a night out, it's all bantz right, get off the high horse... etc etc.

He's been a ****. And I love the bloke normally. But he's been a ****.

This why no one should associate with gooners or chavs.

"Lloris fined £50,000 and banned from driving for 20 months after admitting drink driving. He was twice the legal limit"

He’s been a dick that’s for sure and his actions are indefensible.

The only thing I’d say to try and make sense of this is that alcohol affects different people differently depending on their bodies and how much they usually drink. In a best case scenario for what happened, maybe he doesn’t usually drink much, had a few glasses of celebratory champagne with his French mates and didn’t realise how bad he was until he got in the car and was sick.

It goes without saying he shouldn’t have got in the car after a few glasses of alcohol. It also goes without saying that if that was the case, the moment he realised he’d had too much and was sick, he should’ve pulled over and left the car. He’s fucked up so much here but the reason I’m posting this is because it’s so unlike what we ‘know’ about Lloris and I’d like to think this is what happened as opposed to a meathead going out with the plan of getting pissed and not having a care in the world about who it affects if he crashes etc.

Just to make it clear, I’m not defending what he did but I just hope it was a one off and the way it panned out before he got nicked wasn’t the plan of the evening beforehand.

Luckily no one was hurt so hopefully he can put it behind him and put in a few good performances for us.

I said earlier in this thread that it wasn't appropriate to condemn or punish him without more information, and I still believe that should have been the case.

Well, now, condemn and punish away. What a fucking dickhead. It's difficult for the club not to act now that the details are in the public sphere, surely?

The fact that he is normally so level-headed yet chose to drive so far over the limit is what's really sad.

What an absolute fool.

Twice over the legal limit isn’t actually that much alcohol these days.

Still not sure about the taxi getting cancelled story? It’s London not the valleys or somewhere equally far flung. There are literally thousands of the bastards just waiting to rip sorry drop you off.

True. 3 or 4 pints. The vomit and the stumbling out the car thing is a bit weird for only twice the limit, which possibly suggests he is a regular drinker so it wouldn’t show big in his system and he may well have had a few more than 3 or 4 pints despite what he registered.

All guesswork of course. Anyway, must be so embarrassing for him, on top of the world one minute and then this a month later...

But to be slurring his words and covered in vomit???? Seriously something doesn't add up. Being over the two times over the limit wouldn't leave you like that.

We need to get serious about drink driving in this country. Behaviour like Hugo's should result in a large amount of community service, not just a monetary penalty.
