Super Jan was absolutely brilliant today.

I know we've extended Jan's contract by another year till 2020 but he does deserve a decent 3 year contract with a pay rise to reflect how important he is to us. Inferior players like Smalling, Jones, Luiz et al are probably on better terms.

No chance. He's said on numerous occasions he doesn't want to play LB. It's great we have the option in a crisis but ultimately he's an absolutely world class CB and should be starting there when possible.
