Yep, absolutely bizarre than Verts did not come on. Even if it was the last one instead of Skipp.

Got to agree, if simply a matter of phasing out Vertonghen as in the last year of his contract then Poch is being incredibly ruthless and more than a bit disrespectful to a great servant of the club.

However I don’t have all the facts so may be nothing and will be back next week

Training is one thing, but everyone who's seen more than 5 mins of football know Jan is better than Davinson every day of the week. Sorry.

Fair enough not to start if that is the case. But when we're under pressure for so long it does seem extremely odd we don't use one of our best defenders at some point. As we saw Skipp ended up marking Laporte for the last minute corner.

Let’s all knock Sanchez now. Verts by all accounts has been below par. The more he plays and develops, we will be knocking Poch when he isn’t playing. Give the guy a break.
