It's like everyone is getting so furious because I don't rate their favourite player. Are you guys OK?

You are overestimating our emotions on this. People aren't furious - they are baffled ...
I think people would all appreciate if you could articulate why you don't rate him - you bring nothing to the discussion.

We will look back on some of the posts on this thread in and laugh.

Look on it as comedy for the future.

It's more the way you're presenting your opinions (i.e. like a bit of a bellend) rather than the fact that you don't rate Onomah per se. Cut the bellend-ery out (e.g. "Terrible today, lost us the FA cup and should be removed from the squad immediately.") and you'd probably get a lot less grief. You bellend.

Yeah, or you could just read that sentence back and consider whether you think it was humour or a real thought.

"Lost us the FA Cup and should be removed from the squad"

Like I said, the internet must be dangerous for some of you.

Interesting to note that Kirito followed up his "you take this all too seriously" rhetoric by reacting to my negative reps of his posts with a trawl through my old posts, adding reps to each of them. Is this the point where I'm supposed to post a fishing rod emoticon?

No one's taking all this seriously, they just think you're talking rubbish.

So much fury.

Onomah has got a lot of potential. Got nice balance on the ball. I think he does need to be playing more first team football at this stage. Things didn't quite go for him today but I definitely think he's got a good chance of making it here.

Must admit, ive not seen alot in Onomah. He may go on to prove me wrong, but right now, im not overly impressed.

He's barely played any minutes for us. Players change so much between the ages of 18-21 anyway, pointless to judge him too harshly or positively on the limited amount of time he's had with the first team. I know Kane is an anomaly, but he should be an example as to how much players can improve in a short space of time.

Think you meant dangerous for you.

Either a very odd sense of humour or odd appreciation of young footballers, and its not obvious to the rest of the world which it is.

I thought he played well

Played with a lot of energy, got forward well. Looked very promising

That said I thought it would have been better to take him off rather than Son as Son looked more likely to actually make a break through today

He's not composed once he is in the box & that's just not in this game.. every game he's played he's been ok up until he is in the box.. I think the talent is obvious he just needs to drop down a level or two to gain the confidence he needs. he's only 18 he has loads of time to improve

Thought he seemed a bit lost today but that's no huge insult to him, he's an inexperience 18 year old. The boy has a lot of talent and even showed glimpses of that today, he's just not ready. Neither was Kane at 18. He's certainly not the reason we lost this game.

I think Martin Shkreli is a genius comedian. I think Josh Onomah is an average football player. We should start Harry Winks

I think in 3 or four seasons time Winks will be the mainstay of our midfield & if we were a mid-table club we could afford to play him & let him make the mistakes that only naturally happens for young players to learn.. he's not ready yet to play for a side challenging at the top of the table.. Long-term I think he could be the best our academy has produced as long as the boo boys & internet warriors don't crucify him when he makes a mistake.

Christ. Some of the posts in here.

He's an 18-year-old playing, essentially, a Premier League-quality match- and he didn't play badly. Yes, he didn't have an amazing game, but he certainly played better than established Premier League players like Eriksen.
