Have high hopes for the lad but every time that I've seen him this season he's looked more likely to trip over his own feet than do something productive with the ball.

Still very early days though.

He is not ready for prime time should definitely loan him to a team where he will be given games in premier league or championship

Doesn't look ready yet, couldn't get to the pace, naive offside and caught in possession - need a championship loan

His offside today at the end of the game when we were 3 on 2 was so infuriating that I almost broke my laptop. I don't understand taking off a striker for him either at that point, no matter how bad Kane was.

I didn't think he looked horrible, but he does seem to slip a lot. I swear he is on the ground more than anyone.

I haven't seen enough of his passing to say he should be played centrally, but his control would suggest that a more central role is needed.

Oduwa seems completely out of the picture which is a shame as he's surely a better wide option than Onomah. Am I the only one that thinks this?

Seems to trip over the ball every time he plays.

What's his position again?

Looked unsure what to do when he has the ball, and wasn't getting into good position to receive a pass. Perhaps he needs to start a game in the League Cup. Starting may give him moretime to get into the flow of play.

I like what Pochettinho is doing with Onomah, having trust to put him in big moments. What Onomah has to improve on (might sound silly) is staying up right on he's feet never seen a player so of balance tripping over. Once he can get better balance sort he's feet he'll be flying.

I think people have to be patient, he reminds me a lot of when Kane first came into the first team mix and it took him quite a while to grow into his frame and be physically ready. At the moment he is a bit 'bambi on ice', but he just has to keep working hard and it requires a smidgen of patience from the fans.

I have this rule amongst my mates where if a academy player has a silly name then he won't make it. Onomah doesn't sound like a future Galactico to me :-D

But seriously has this lad done anything impressive at all when given a chance? I know it's early days but I've not seen a single thing. Surely we're entitled to want something to cheer? I know full well he's only a kid.

I think he badly needs game time in pro football. Get him a good playing championship side and make him learn some lessons. It is too easy to push him off the ball at the moment. Clearly talented.

I agree to a point, but what surprised me was his work ethic. He looked disinterested in pressing and doing the Poch thing. I think there is a talented player in there but not sure for what position at the moment.

Badly needs to put on some muscle to compete at this level. He looks a bit like Lamela when he first joined and was getting knocked about.

The manager obviously rates him highly to bring him on over Son and he's clearly got potential.

Our beloved Harry didn't set the world alight to begin with...
