Don't like mentioning one of their lot but he reminds me of Koscienly. Was good last night until their first goal, very good on the ball but as you'd expect from a 19yr old CB he has a lot to learn too. He's at the right place and definitely looks something rather special.

Think you need your eyes tested mate ,tiny?

Scroll down alongside sissoko tiny bit shorter than sissoko Who is 6 2’ .Id say 6 1.5’ is spot Once he fills out will be fine.Won quite a few challenges with Carroll, physicality won’t be an issue.Thry make them tough in Argentina especially CB.Actually reminds a lot of woodgate.

I genuinely don't know why people have to be arsey about me saying he looked short. I didn't say he was shit, or he didn't play well. I said he looked tiny. "Looked" tiny.

He's the shortest centre back we have – we're just blessed with tall centre backs, I guess. I appreciate that's not tiny, and sorry for dare saying that. Fact is he's shorter than Kane, Alli, Sissoko, Llorente in those pics and most people in our team, which is why he looks small, comparatively, on the pitch.

Because you said “tiny” Just a silly thing to say.Tiny is 5 5’ a Marcus Edwards. And that photo dele is 6 2’ .He isn’t standing up straight where as dele is And is at most an inch shorter.I think it’s fair to say he is not shorter than 6 1’

He's around the same height as Toby...even Poch acknowledged this himself...

“I think Juan is the same height as Toby [Alderweireld], Jan [Vertonghen], Davinson [Sanchez]. I played when I was 17 or 18 against a massive striker and I’m smaller than Juan.

“I was always most pleased to play against bigger rather than smaller players. Smaller players are very quick with a low [centre of gravity]. They’re difficult to catch!”" “Come on! You need to show [what you can do]! He’s at Tottenham. He needs to fight and prove himself [and show] that he can compete in this type of game.

Why did he comment on it? Did someone raise that he looked small, by chance? Because contextually he looks it. That's my only point.

Also, to muddy the water even more, that's from an interview that says he's 6ft 3: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...oyth-andy-carroll-show-why-here-a8017786.html

I don't care if he's 3'6" provided he can do his job.

Last night a 19 year old kid who we bought for £8M and who had never previously played against an English premiership team faced arguably the most feared aerial threat in the country and got caught out once. We should be fucking ecstatic.

He didn’t even get caught out in the air as well was an offside. But to blame him for the 2nd is a bit harsh as well. There were a catalogue of errors before the actual goal. Also noticed he is very quick.

Decent enough showing, however the first half was played at a walking pace and the less said about the second half the better.

Thought he did well enough with Caroll and obviously looks comfortable on the ball - good first impressions.
