Shame he can't compete in pre-season now, with Toby and Jan out he would surely played a big part

Hope he and KWP will get more game time this season ... think both are talents

Banging this drum is becoming extremely boring. The ability to play the ball out from the back is an enormous part of the modern game; ball-playing is probably a more common and desirable asset in centre-backs now than it is in defensive midfielders. Foyth has the perfect attributes for a modern centre-back, and that’s where he should stay.

Don’t really think Foyth gets the respect his performances last season deserved. Not sure I remember him putting a foot wrong in the games he played. He looked calm and assured with great technique. People seem to think he’s small or physically weak. But he’s 6ft 1.5 which is fine for a CB. Honestly think if he was 2 inches taller people would be raving about him , where as currently he seems an after thought. Like his not a serious option to come in and play if needed.
Where is the evidence? Or are you just making a baseless assumption. I have never read or heard anything but positive things about him.

He's a young player in a new country, far too early for anyone to judge him.

Would be curious as to who'd be ahead in the pecking order between him and CCV now.

I'm not here to entertain you, bro.

You disagree. Good for you.

What would actually be boring is if everyone agreed with each other.

Not sure if he’s grown but in latest team photo looks a good inch taller than Toby. I guess at least size can’t be used as an excuse now.

It's not the height thats an issue for Foyth its his weight, he looks skinny.

Anyway there was a lot of talk he was too small. But thankfully that appears now not to be an issue. I think people should be more excited than they are about him. If we’d signed him from Ajax this summer people would be very excited.

He’s back been training couple weeks.

Big vote of confidence in someone who hasn’t played a Premier League match yet. Great to see he’s still rated highly in Argentina.

They don't have much to lose, which is crazy when you think about Argentina. Especially as the 'defenders' they do have are pretty old on average.

Argentina don't have the best set of centre backs do they?

A great sign though, international football will only push on his development

Pretty old?? If these are old then Spurs starting CB is pretty old too
Otamendi (30)
Pezzella (27)
Garay (31)
Musacchio (28)
Funes Mori (27)

Foyth may go the national side because they are trying to revamp the side and bring youth to team. There were a lot of very young players used in the last 2 games against Guatemala and Colombia. The man of the match in both games was a 19yr old
