Is it though?

Don't get me wrong he's done well for us, but it seems like you only need a run of games at a decent club to get into the England squad now.

England, in fact, I think most national teams can use a specialist like him. It's not like he's gonna be a starter, but probably a 20-min-every-couple-games kind of guy - it's a great option to have especially when your are behind.

Agreed that he got picked mostly by playing with us to get recognized tho., as he's had a much better season before but he didn't get in then.

Disagree. If you're at a big club you can get in without playing hardly at all or indeed ever.
See Walcott, Rooney and Wiltshire.
On the other hand if you're at a smaller club you could be a golden boot winner and still hardly get a look in. See Kevin Philips.
Pricks on TS tonight were already talking about shoehorning Rashford in with Kane so we play 442 and then in same breath said we need to get that Alli Kane partnership working like it does for Spurs.
Well try playing them in the same positions as at Spurs ya fkin dicks.
Clueless.
Edit. Wiltshire actually got a fkin mention. Can you believe that? Couldn't even get in Bournemouth starting 11 when fit.
Unbelievable Jeff.

Edit edit. Well done Kieron (y)

Delighted for his call up. Throughly deserved.

As for whether I'm comfortable with Walker going to City and him becoming our main man I'm conflicted. I think it's clear to see Tripper is a better footballer with an almost Beckham like right foot. But Walker is a tour de force of a wing back. We will miss him.

We are banking on Poch to make the right decision and I trust him.

Yep. You've summed up why the England team will never have any success. It's exactly the kind of thing we always end up doing.

I remember a few weeks ago people were discussing Kieran's height, have just seen this.

Sterling is meant to be 5'7

Two funny things here; Allis complete look of seriousness and the fact that both Jones and Smalling are still in the England squad.

Hope he and Davies are working extremely hard or their physical conditioning. Could be an intense year for them both

Well deserved.

I'm not sure he's good enough to be starting next season as first choice right back though.

I hope he proves me wrong.

Perfectly fine to start in 70/80% of our games when we dominate. But he will struggle against the better teams and tricky wingers like we saw in the CL and against certain players last season, not up to scratch defensively yet.

That's why he is best suited to a wb role. He's no worse defensively from a technical view point than walker its just that walkers physique means he can recover quicker.
