I swear the overreaction of some of you to differing opinions is mindboggling.
My exact thoughts

Not trying to put a downer on England and Trippiers tournament so far but it’s important to remember that his opponents so far have been Tunisia, Panama and Columbia. Not exactly world beaters.
Shaddap you bitter Welshman
Huddlestone had an absolutely velvet pass as well.I cant remember which journo said it but on the last or one before of the Sunday Supplement podcast, he said that the train of thought is that Tripps has the best right foot since Beckham......
Nicking this to hopefully stop my missus calling it the "one-inch punch."sexy vein of form
Outstanding tonight
And seriously...the “Burnley Beckham” played better in that game than celebrity footballer beckham ever did for England
!
Beckham pretty much carried England for a couple of years, but if you want just one match as an example, try the Greece game where he dragged us to qualification almost on his own (with a bit of help from Teddy). Trippier's been excellent this World Cup, and last night particularly, but to say he's played better than Beckham ever did isn't really true.
Edit: I may have replied before reading the very next post which also mentions the Greece game.
Football is a funny ol game anyone would think Trippier is a better full back than Rose or worse still Young. It seems so natural for people to slag of Aurier because Trippier has delivered a few good crosses and set plays at the world cup....but when called to actually defend we saw with Colombia's goal.
I personally would sell Trippier now his price is through the roof and go with KWP and Aurier.
Bit poor to suggest he can't defend based on one set piece. He defended well in open play as far as I remember.
Beckham has Trippier posters on his wall.
Victoria calls him Kieran
