@JimmyG2

A Whipped In Dream

Floatingly swirling and curling through the air,
Met headfirst by the Captain...heroic and fair,
Another goal, another great assist,
Fifty more posts frustratingly clench my fists.

Once more an assist wonderfully delivered from stage right,
From a player who I feel most of the forum should show some contrite,
It's the "Bury Beckham", a fantastic player,
The World Cup's best right back, Kieran Trippier.

Personally mystified why he doesn't get the credit,
Chances created and vision not deemed of merit,
"OMG@Trippier! Should be starting Coco!
We should bring on Skipp! FFS SISSOKO!"

Some want Aurier who plays like he's pissed,
Despite chances to deliver wasted and opportunities missed,
Tackling from behind when already carded,
That kind of behaviour is borderline stupid,

First touch of a Frankie Boyle joke and couldn't take a throw in,
Often stifling attacks with poor decisions and Spurs flowing,

With right footed delivery often something akin to pure artistry,
It's quite easy to see that Harry and he have pretty good chemistry,
In fact it's pretty plain to me what a player I see when I see KT in the Tottenham team,
Do you know what I mean?

Stop the negativity around players like KT Support him and THFC (and Ben Davies),
We've had a great start and got a head up of steam, don't be so mean,
The squad have shown some heart and
They've all played their part.

Why is Paolo so obsessed with defending Trippier lol.

I don't think I've ever seen a poster so passionately defend a player! (and then go into Aurier thread and bad mouth him ha ha!).

Don't see an issue with someone defending a player, there's nothing wrong with that.

It's when you have to put down another Spurs player just to score points, it's extremely childish and fucking pathetic.

I'll give Aurier credit on the rare occasions I feel he's deserving, what I won't do is give him undeserved 6's and 7's in the ratings thread just to suit my agenda...while KT gets 3's and 4's from the usual suspects.

FFS It would be better if so called supporters got behind all of our players instead of trying to gain "brownie points" berating them.

Did Poch say anything about his injury after the game?

A groin problem again. Poch hinted strongly that this problem stems from England playing him in the 3rd place play-off, when he could barely walk off the pitch 3 days earlier.
I made the point at the time; utterly crazy to play him & risk further problems, especially with two other right backs in the squad.

Hopefully it's not too bad, for a first game back it was decent.

A win against a team fighting for survival and with a new manager in is a good one. Players will usually raise their game. Still 1st choice for me every day...think Poch has a similar opinion.

Still pushing your agenda I see, good luck with that.

The problem for me with Trippier isn’t that he isn’t good enough but the fact that he’s so bloody arrogant, always plays others

I don’t care but I will celebrate when he’s gone

Arrogant? Lol. Why because of something you saw on a televised match?

You tell everyone in the match threads, you push it in other player threads, it's every other post. Dry up about your RB thoughts. Support the side that's fucking picked...I dont think Poch cares what you or anyone else thinks.

Why am I spamming you? Because it's the same shite all the time, in multiple threads. You bumped the Trippier thread just to get stuck into him. It's sad as fuck from a supporter IMO.
