The thing that's concerning me is that Davies and Trippier have been our weak link for a couple of years, and it's still not been rectified. Teams consistently target them, especially when we're playing a back four as they push up really high and they don't have the recovery pace to get back.

I know Aurier hasn't really worked out and Rose has had injury problems, but Davies and Trippier should not be first choice players.

How he manages to start for us, I have no clue. It seems like it's every single game he makes at least one massive balls-up that leads to a goal or a big chance, he needs to be sold. Preferably this window while the world cup hype still has SOME effect.

How many chances did he create in the 2nd half? Was our most dangerous outlet by a mile. IMO One poor pass does not make a goal a 'gift' after a great assist and pretty poor goalkeeping, it doesn't make his performance overall a poor one, but I'm fairly sure the ratings thread is full of low numbers and tonnes of vitriol from the usual suspects.
