I thought Kyle played really well today. I think the times he got caught out was because of some poor passing from the players in front of him. He had some dynamic runs today going through the middle a couple of times and made a good assist on a surprisingly good cross. He's a little too predictable with his shots, but I like how he shoots a time or two a game because he has a decent one on him.

It's weird but now I get excited when he's on the ball. He's so positive and even those times when he cuts into the midfield it is generally effective. Such a change from the past when it felt like I needed a Xanax every time he touched the ball.

Causes chaos when he gets round the back.. Poch has to drill it into him to stop pulling up and coming inside.

I consider this to be both a good technical post and one, inadvertently, of homoerotic smut.

Just watched the second half again. The performance form him in that half was the most mature I've seen from him yet. It was almost zen-like from him. Totally assured; looked like a man in full control. A RB with a complete understanding of what his role was.

More of that please, kyle. Was excellent.

I think having Sissoko there helps him. He has a really pacy partner who tracks back well. Must give him a bit of extra confidence when he's higher up the pitch.

Great to see him sign a new contract as well!

Anyone else think his play in the final third has become much better?

He is probably our most improved player over the past year imo - he is much more consistent now and more solid defensively while also being much more effective when going forward. Still prone to a moment of madness every now and again but much less regularly than in the past. Well done Kyle.

Yeh , I reckon there's a new dinked cross he's got these days....pretty effective skill to add to his game .

If only he could cross the ball on the run his attacking play would improve immensely.

Great athlete but a still a limited technician IMO..

Having the best full backs in the league certainly makes it easier to win football matches

Already 2 assists from good crosses this season and provided the cross for the knockdown for HK's goal against Sunderland.

Clearly been working hard on this.
