Hard not to be impressed with what we've seen so far, but let's temper expectations by remembering the only games he's started are against Rochdale.

What I love about our current situation is, all of a sudden, we have competition in a position (AM) that just wasn't there before

Apart from Eriksen, who you largely have to say must play, we now have Dele, Son, Lucas and Lamela, all of who bring something different, and all of who have a threat. There's pace, goal threat, fight, an eye for a pass etc. etc. all in different measure. And they're all still pretty young

That's a big difference to where we've been in the last few years

This guy ooozes class....confident, skillful and looks so relaxed on the ball. I really do think we have found a little gem in this player and he'll suit our style of play perfectly....very pleased with the signing.

From the clips I saw of him at PSG I sort of expected him to be good, pacey dribbler, but what slightly and pleasantly surprised me since he joined us is that he has an excellent eye for a pass. Showed it on numerous occasions yesterday. Not selfish either. The early signs are very positive.

Seems to do everything at warp speed. His first touch is sublime. He'll be deadly against teams that come out and play, as he has the speed, touch and dribbling skills to exploit space between the lines. And for a tiny fella, he's bloody great in the air.

Yesterday played more down the middle than in wings. I thought he was very effective doing it. His pace in center of the field with dribbles will frighten any defense. I think finally Eriksen is having a competition...not like for like...In his own way Lucas can play in AM role instead of Eriksen

All born in 1992 except Dele!

I think we have a good balance now with Lucas, he seems to have the vision of an Eriksen/Lamela with the energy of Son and could easily play across the front 3. In fact I think Lucas should be looking to be involved in most games going forward. Against the teams that park the bus he could work with Dele and Lamela to find the space while Eriksen drops in with Dembele in the middle (shouldn't need a DM in these games). Then against those that play I would favour a DM with Dembele and then drop Dele and Lamela for a front three of Son, Eriksen and Lucas to take advantage of the space and stretch the better teams (not that Dele will ever get dropped)

Moura is an absolute bargain. Far better than I thought he would be. Looks like he wants to get stuck in and play well for the team. Usually takes time for players to settle in but he has hit the ground running .sheer pace is what we needed and that’s what he’s got. Great purchase.

I've always seem Lamela being the closest thing to Eriksen.

I would say Moura is Son's nearest rival.

Towards the end of the season think he will play in the big matches
At this stage of the season - they are all big matches.

Looking at the fixtures - I'd say maybe the City match is the only one that is not "Must-Win", and even then, I think the club will want to win.

I think there is a continuum that needs to be applied for the players as to strengths

Dribbling/Shooting/Pace <----Son----Lucas----Lamela----Eriksen---->Passing/Playmaking/Chance creation for others

Obviously Eriksen excels at shooting as well and is no slouch in the running department and Lucas definitely has an eye for a pass and a through ball, but I think it helps to have a framework in mind for the situations they would excel in
