Would be typical Spurs if he got his first start against Rochdale and twisted his ankle within 5mins of being on their crop-harvest pitch

Rochdale's LB would be getting that sick certificate written up right about now.
Rochdale's left back is my mate Matty Done. I was already joking with him last night about Sunday and how he might be facing Moura.
The one thing my mate does have though is pace so he will be fine in that department.

To be fair though he probably is quick but premier league players even the slow ones are rapid vs teams lower down the ladder he must be terrified.

My mate played for Newport vs us and he said he was just amazed at how quick fit and strong we are and he said we could have scored whenever we wanted we were just being respectful

According to FIFA, he can play Striker, Left-Midfielder, and Left Wing-Back. Is that correct?

He started his career as a left back and all through school he played as a left wing back for us. He then advanced to a left winger (attacking) before moving to a striker. He has slowly moved back over the past season but he's very adaptable. Keith Hill loves him and usually taken him wherever he goes.

Tell your mate to go easy and not to tackle too hard:cautious:

Done player left back for them now?

I thought he was a striker / winger and at Sheffield United was playing up top with Billy Sharp?

Give us the gossip - does he like player left back?? (Or is he playing as an attacking wing-back, still different from a striker / winger though),

I have given a brief overview further up this page if that's helpful. Yes he played for Barnsley and Sheffield Utd up top and banged in a fair few goals but he has now reverted to an attacking left winger and sometimes plays left mid or left back.

Brief cameo last night but looked like a player that wanted to get on the ball whilst also bursting forward when he did. Not a total head down touchline hugger. Looking forward to his first start. I think he'll be looking forward to the link up potential in the side.

Must be thinking right now what a good decision he made to play for Spurs!
