Can't wait until Son is back and we have a pacey finisher either side of Kane. (probably only against teams outside top 6)

Lucas moura was pretty much the biggest young talent in world football at one point right? He chose psg over united and did reasonably well there until mbappe n neymar turned up. But at psg players can play within themselves and win everything whereas here poch and co will drive him on to fulfil that undoubted potential he had.

Fingers crossed a certain 20+ goalscorer in pl.

More like Stephane Dalmat! If Poch has been in charge of Dalmat we may have had a great player!

Hopefully he can do it with Lucas. Has the potential to be amazing. I must admit I haven’t been totally convinced until this game. He showed some good touches against Newcastle and a great goal against Fulham (as well as a horrendous miss) but very noticeable how much effort he’s putting in, which has to be down to Poch because he specifically said last season that the reason he wasn’t playing him is because he needs to leave now to track back etc.

The game yesterday confirmed he could be a worldy. His finish for the second goal was so calm and perfect. His game in general - His pace, his effort, his chasing down, his interview.... I’m excited.
I’ve been telling the wife he’s great. She seemed surprised as all the media he gets says otherwise but after Monday I’ve cemented my place as smart arse football fan in our house. Took me 20 years but I’ve finally called one. It is his effort apart from anything else. He should have been shattered the other night, nearly got subbed, but still had it in him to get the second goal. And he is one of those players that brings you to the edge of your seat and off it. In conclusion, I’m not missing Sissoko right now.

Smashing player, on this evidence I’m not sure any team’s summer signings are as good as he is.
If he can continue to combine the Poch tenacity and effort with his own natural talents- pace and technique- he could have an immense season. He appeared incredibly passionate after the match, as if he felt he’d proven something that had been questioned for some time. The signs so far are very promising

I really want to see a game where he and Son are lined up on both wing. We saw it in that FA cup game where Llorente scored the hat trick but I'd like to see it against a legitimate opponent.

Would be propah tasty seeing Moura - Kane - Son up top.

Alex Ferguson could spot a winger or two, and he wanted Moura. They bid 25, then 30, then 35 million for him but he went to PSG when PSG bid 45 million. Ferguson called Moura 'unbelievably talented'.

Very predictable review coming from you. Your points may be valid, but most apply to other top players as well but it seems you are reluctant to address the positives (which far out weigh the negatives where he is concerned). That bit I highlighted however, is just not true. Considering he is the new kid in this established team, he was more in tune with the team than you give him credit for.

Ha! Just calling it as I see it fella. I want him to do as well as anyone but I i'm just not sure he's there yet. I'm not saying he won't improve but i’m not going to get as carried away as everyone else.

He certainly looks good but its still early doors.
However, what impressed me as much as anything was how well he puts himself about in the air. He wins headers he has no right winning because he is not that tall, but his leap is sensational

I know it’s Poch’s tendency to wait for players to get up to speed, but I still thought he was under used last season. Especially in that Juventus game at Wembley. They were rattled and I think him coming on really could have made a difference.

Anyway, excited to see if he can consistently put in performances like that.

Although, I would still like to see Kane not dropping too deep with Moura on the pitch.

Would love a line up like this when everyone is fit:

Lloris

Trippier Toby Verts Rose

Wanyama

Eriksen Alli

Moura Son

Kane

I'd love to see that lineup. Man just goes back to our depth if we still need impact off the bench we have next to nothing. Lamela would be the only difference maker we could bring on... not ideal.

We can play that formation all season and just have really entertaining games. It'll be a throwback to the days of yonder when we had Redknapp in charge and drew every game 4-4.

His wiki says he’s 5 8” which quite surprised me. Thought he was about 5 6” but then saw some photos next to Nkoudou and his about same height and Nkoudou is listed as 5 9 “ ?

We're football fans, we're supposed to be getting carried away when our club is showing positive signs.

To me, there's nothing more boring and life sucking than those supporters who keep stating we won't be in the race for the title just because they want to sound realistic or whatever.
