I wouldn't begrudge Moose moving to a club challenging for trophies.

I reckon it's Utd as a Pogba replacement.

Don’t mind him going but if it’s city I hope Levy has a master plan because fuck me his tightrope is starting to get very thin

I might have posted this before but a Spurs fan I knew at that time was a genuine lunatic scrapper. He’d fight himself if he was pissed enough. Anyway, he once said, “if I came home from work and caught the missus in bed with Ginola, I’d make him a cup of tea and warm
his car up for him.”
The power of a genuine spurs flair player
Still the most entertaining player I’ve seen at spurs. I’m too young to remember gazza and before though (1985 born), klinsmann and sheringham is where my memory stretches.

No chance he leaves without a replacement lined up. I personally hope he stays, regular rotation with Winks will do them both good fitness wise before Winks makes the position his own.

Not sure where Gards got city from but hey!

Rob just said that personal terms might be an issue so it can't be city. EDIT: I was wrong on this bit, he said the opposite. My bad.

Gards needs to chill out. He's been knocking on the door of being part of the Levy Out brigade this summer and I feel like a lot of opinion tweets are getting misconstrued as ITK.

100% this he has been acting like a spoilt child all summer and needs to wind his neck in.

I don't want someone to fill his shoes tbh, if we're playing 433 the CMs need to be able to shoot and make some quick passes.

Dele does both of those things better than Dembele imo.

Passing and possession play isn't Dele's best asset IMO. He is better further up the pitch, linking up with Kane, finding space and getting on the end of crosses.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

He was fantastic - an archetypal Spurs player. I always hoped that Dominguez would end up living up to the promise that he showed but he seemed too easily knocked off the ball.

I think Rob said terms wouldn’t be an issue

I actually think his sale would be so we bring in a foreign defensive midfielder with the hope of the Toby/Martial switch. That would give us a bit of extra cover in defensive midfield in case Wanyama continues to struggle. While Dier is a natural replacement for Toby should he go. It means a couple of versatile options to cover a couple of positions (Dier for CB and DM, Martial/Son for wing forward/centre forward) leaving a more compact squad and less players in the cold.

Grealish/Winks----Dier/Wanyama/New Signing (Dier to cover CB)
Eriksen/Moura----Alli/Lamela----Son/Martial
Kane (Son/Martial to cover)

People need to get it out their heads that dembele can be a rotatation player. He needs 5/6 games to get going.

Totally mate. I've been feeling a little frustrated myself, but its worth a pinch and some realisation of where we are today compared to when he took the reins.
Bit of a shame if we can't get a high profile player as that'd be superb to go with the new stadium (that's costing double right now).

I agree, Dele is great with take ons but they should be higher up the pitch were he can risk things not in a place were its very dangerous.

Why on Earth do people think that Man City, a team who have probably the only head coach who's as physically demanding of his players as Poch is, would buy a player who demonstrably cannot cope with those physical demands?!

I'm a little confused about the Man City links too. If it's a question of terms being agreed, I imagine both Fulham and Wolves (for example) are able to offer him attractive wages and crucially a longer contract than we seem willing to offer.
