Fuck me, some of you have so much shit in your eyes you'd think an elephant just took a dump on your heads.

His pass, disguised as a scuffed shot, to put Kane in on goal last night was fucking sublime and skill of the highest order, on the biggest stage in a massive, massive game. MoM for me. Does it really hurt to give a little credit now and again or are you all so busy trying to look like football connoisseurs that you can't see how muggy you're making yourselves look.

Agreed. He appears to miscontrol 9 out of 10 balls but I'd say about 80% of the time it works out well and totally bamboozles the opposition. There is genius in his play I tell ye.

Trouble is by and large it bamboozles him as well - but he is doing better but it was a pretty low bechmark

I thought he was terrible last night, which makes the fact that we won even more impressive. He has had some decent performances recently but last night he was really poor.

I see its all a highly skilful act, like the football equivalent of Drunken Fist style Kung Fu.

The dude still scares me.

Can't remember which game recently it was but the ball was squared to him on edge of the penalty area and he just ballooned it straight up into the sky. It was comically bad.

Some great off the ball work tracking runners, he is a vital member of our squad even with his limitations.

Pochettino seems to really trust him, so he must be a good guy. Keep going Moussa.

Have developed a soft spot for this guy and he certainly has a place in our squad.

However, last night was pretty comical, certainly with the ball anyway (off it he was good). My personal favourite was when he nutmegged Trippier late on on the edge of our box to play Ascensio in. Quality.

Correct but people only see the mis-controls and the poor first touch, I reckon our players love playing with him in the side because he generally causes havoc and disrupts defences with his direct running and his off the ball work. I can see why people don't fancy him but I completely understand why Poch picks him in this team, some statement subbing him on for Dembele last night.

In some weird way- and I say this as someone who fucking loathed this acquisition- I’m starting to kind of like him. And here’s the craziest part: I actuallly PREFER him in big games rather than against weaker/more defensive-minded opposition.

The reason for this is that against squads that come to play- who really attack- his harassing nature and almost overwhelming athleticism seem to befuddle them. Yeah, sure- technically he’s woeful- we get that- but he’s also relentless and so fucking incredibly strong that he creates havoc just by his mere presence. I can’t put it any other way than that. And that chaos unsettles the offensive sides— like they don’t quite know how to handle him. He is literally the strongest player I have ever seen; he’s like a thoroughbred out there.

I guess what I’m saying is that as much as we have no idea what will happen when he’s out there, neither do they- and that somehow his unpredictability- combined with his athleticism- hurts them WAY more than it does us. Plus, every once in a while he does something sublime (that pass against Burnley last season for example).

Another poster mentioned the balance that he gives us and I have to agree; in a team replete with technical wizardry, sometimes a battering ram is called for.

Completely agree.

His strength, pace and willingness to run again and again at the opposition back line scares them and gives us something our regular players don't offer.

I think that’s more to do with the fact that Dembele isn’t 100% and can only just about handle 20mins of football.

Not sure about that...that game called for someone to take advantage of the space that Real were offering in the middle of the pitch.

Sissoko i think is actually a very interesting addition to our team now. Yes his technique is crap at times, not all the time as some say but he adds a lot to the squad. He is a big guy, gets in the tackles, shows a lot of energy and makes a lot of runs past the opposing teams defence and we don't have many who do that. He is a bit of a battering ram of a player but sometimes you need players like that to open up teams and i think he actually frees up space on the pitch with his runs for the more technical players like Alli,Eriksen and Winks to do the good stuff.

That air kick last night was a thing of beauty. His technique is just woeful. Still, we are doing pretty well with him in the side and Poch clearly feels he offer something so i'm happy to get behind him!

I'm absolutely flabbergasted that he has managed to carve out a very lucrative living masquerading as a professional footballer. I bet he is pissing himself when he see's £90k a week being emptied into his bank account

Really, you honestly think if Dembele was 100% he still would’ve brought Sissoko on?

Perhaps he could take the ball with him occasionally.

Are we talking about the same Poch who said Dembele is one of the 5 football genius’ he’s encountered in his life? Who, not long ago, said we had to be very careful with managing the amount of minutes he gets.

If Dembele was 100% He would’ve started.
