Unpopular view!! After not bringing anybody in we cannot afford to let Sissoko go. It’s a long season and we might have to rely on him at times during the season. Foolish to let him go.

But wasn’t it rumoured / reported that one of the reasons that we didn’t have incomings in the last window, was because we have too many non HG players and he is one of those that we would be prefer to loan/sell?

There are others in the list (VJ, GKN, maybe FL) that we could let go first but if we can’t find buyers who are willing to pay a fee that is acceptable by the club for these other players, then I’d rather sell/loan Sissoko if there is any attractive offer.

Yep that's true and I can't see him going anywhere permanently unless he gets a sweet deal out of it (not a criticism of him, just that he is on a great deal with us). Fully expect him to be on our books for the next three seasons.

Sissoko is s good squad player a pro as far as I'm concerned.

He played well, offered good movent getting into good pockets of space. Good defensive covering, some decent attacking moments that set a couple players up .

You've gotta take him for what he is. If you ranked the squad, hes in that 18-25 bracket, where frankly you won't get better. Limited football wise perhaps, but hes been a very solid pro since getting here and the price tag was never his fault.

Because they have a preconceived opinion and therefore blinded towards what actually goes on, on the pitch

He's just not a good enough technician to play for us. Wanyama or Toby could probably play better on the wing than he can.
