Like Inter on Wednesday?
Did they really park the bus though? Possession was basically split, they still had 10 shots to our 14, 6 corners in the game, only 30 less passes total. I wouldn't call what Inter did at all what we are likely to see from Southampton this week.

They didn't come out and play, sat deep and were happy to settle on a draw, I think that's the point. Sissoko's run was the difference in whether we won or lost that game as it opened the defence up. Difference is that they are more comfortable in possession than Southampton when they have the ball.

Either way I don't think it matters who we play against Southampton, they're not very good and don't have any confidence.

Few dodgy touches aside, the guy played his heart out. Drove us forward at times; stuck his body on the line for blocks and tackles. What a turnaround from him

The way he just pushed forward and outmuscled those little barca players without giving a shit, wow. What a player!

Was excellent driving at Barca. His confidence is up and things that he tried previously are now coming off. Thought he looked pretty knackered for the last 10-15 when he went to right back but he put in a big shift alongside winks.

I imagine that the players get a kind of boost when they see Sissoko run over 3 players and still keep possession of the ball.

He still kept the ball brilliantly at RB. Held his position brilliantly too. His touch is on a different level to his past years.

I really cant get my head around him. I havent bought a Spurs shirt in years but Im thinking of getting a new one with Sissoko on the back....
