Reports he is out for a month and others saying just a week. Let’s hope it’s the latter.

Don't know if this has been posted or not but a BBC broadcaster called James Burford who was at the training ground today has tweeted out that he spoke to Poch about Sissoko and was told his injury was only minor and would just miss the Fulham game.

Muscle near the groin eh. If its his old fellow, cant he just strap it to his thigh and play through the pain. I know I would.

He’s been critical to our success this year. Without him this year we would have been completely lost as to midfield options. Winks and Sissoko have been fantastic, they run all game and absolutely drive us on. Sissoko has also shown he’s far more technical than we all thought. He’s shown some lovely dribbling and passing. He also covers our weak right back area, he’s always in the right spot to cover Trippier and Serge. One of my favourite players (y)

Wish he scored yesterday, would have been so good to shut the away fans up.

Strange to hear the booing for him. A few seasons ago they were happy they got rid of him for 30M. Most of us always felt he wasn't even worth 10M.

But now 30M feels like a bargain. He is starting to show his strength in midfield, been a massive player for us. Pretty harsh on him imo.

They’d love him back in their squad now. The football gods are funny bastards

I suspect the booing was because they’ve been made to look like fools regarding the price and signing.Hes been great this season

Fans boo former players, hardly a new concept.
Yep and they really disliked him up there as they felt he only turned up once every 5 games. Which is weird because the aspect of his game least open to criticism is his work rate and discipline. Think he's been very consistent on that point.

I think it’s only this season that he’s got the work rate on point. He was terrible and would jog back in previous seasons and for the bar codes.

I disagree, I think he's been given a responsibility by Poch and stuck to it. Even Poch said numerous times that Sissoko is a valuable player. At Newcastle he may have had more offensive responsibilities.

We need a poll on whether with 14 games to go sissoko will score before the end of the season. Yesterday was a revelation, or a mishit. Normally he aims for row Z but he managed to get it between the sticks . Deeply impressed. I reckon its a good 50/50 call. So I'm going to punt for 1 sissoko goal before the end of the season.
