Dont disagree and as you say its an open discussion but people are not objective..Eriksen passes back...Wanyama passes back and sideways but knowone groans at them..Thats our game plan we keep the ball and move it through the players.

Trippier IMO wasnt decent...Can you explain how a right wing back can be offside twice ?? Is he not looking accross the line ? Basic error
He needs advice on the subject from Defoe and Kane.

I don't disagree with that, I was frustrated that he got caught... But both times I felt it was unlucky.

But I don't attach the blame on him. Newcastle was playing 6-4-0 at times. He was trying to play off the shoulder of the last defender and hope for a ball over the top for him to cross in. They really packed the middle so the flanks where our best option.

When Sissoko plays Wanyama, he has to be the one who needs to take the ball forward. And even overlap with trips/Ben. He did that in the 2nd half. Which open the game up for us creating more space In the middle for Eriksen.

I don't have any ill will towards Sissoko, he has been a good professional. He has been a decent squad player, but I would rather see Spurs Academy players get opportunities instead of Sissoko. I would rather see a player like Onomah get the start over Sissoko in the future.

As a club, we need to stop overpaying for squad players like Sissoko and Llorente and instead focus on our academy players and see if they can develop into those roles. I think Onomah, Keanan Bennetts, Oliver Skipp, Kazaiah Sterling, and maybe Reo Griffiths could fill some roles for us next year IF they perform well in the preseason

Moussa Sissoko, the non-scoring, non-tackling, non-passing midfielder. He even spends most of the time jogging. He is five yards behind everything, never reads where a second ball might drop never mind win it.

His teammates clearly don’t really want to expose him to the ball, he doesn’t track runners, every Leicester attack there he is ambling into shot just at the end, save the counter from one of our corners where he almost does well against Vardy but then his inability to actually play football sees him stub his foot into the ground rather than the ball.

Of course he does get running when he drives forward on a counter , only doing it when one of our much better attacking players has come deep to help out/win the ball/create the play. Unfortunately he is absolutely crap so he isn’t going to score, and you think wouldn’t it better if the likes of Eriksen, Ali etc didn’t have to come deep but was instead the one breaking forward?

He is a crap player, and I don’t think he works hard either. He is bang in the middle of a lovely, comfortable, warm spot, not asked to contribute defensively (that’s Wanyama and the defence) or offensively (Eriksen et al), he simply has to just stand in the middle of the pitch and try not to make a hideous error that flags up just what a batshit mental decision it was to sign him, and to continue playing him.

If he plays a tenth as much next season then Poch isn’t the manager to win us anything.

Probably his worst half in a spurs shirt in that 2nd half IMO.

Im gonna rewatch that 2nd half and specifically him.

He hid and didn't want to get involved.

Pathetic.

It is worrying if it was in fact Poch who was pushing for us to sign him.

I know SAF dropped some clangers (kleberson, Bebe) but some of them I reckon was for commercial effect rather than football (Dong, djemba-djemba). The signing of sissoko and poch being desperate to sign him still leaves me so perplexed.

How many of SAF's bad signings did he persist with? He might have given them a go (probably because of his own pride/ego), then drop them to squad player, fringe player, then offload. We've givem him a go, he's been a squad player, now lets phase out to sell before the start of the 2019/20 season

fucking hell we just finished 3rd and Sissoko appeared in 29 games. If you are happy with the team's effort this year give the guy some props for fucks sake. he isnt a star but he's a Spur.

I’m sure he’s a nice guy and I hope he has a good World Cup. I just don’t want him here any longer.

I don't boo players when their name is read out, or when they come on, or get on the ball. I dont really shout abuse (unless I have had a couple of beers) and even then its not personal. I hope when he runs through onto a flowing move 12 yards from goal that he scores rather than blaze it over the bar. I wish he was able to bring something to the team.

Just because he plays for us doesn't mean he cannot be criticised, its only since really focusing on him during the game, both in the flesh and on TV that I've seen that he isnt even really working his nuts off.

He drove foward with the ball in the 2nd half today, made 60 yards down the inside left channel, then fluffed the pass which wasnt a difficult one.

He ambled over to the right as the ball went that way, and Wanyama who was central had to cover all the way over to the right flank because Sissoko didn't. (Sissokoe started about 20 yards nearer the right touchline before Wanyama had to kick in and get over to help KWP)

The ball then went inside, to a player that was 3 yards from Sissoko. At no point did he try to track the guy, get back to challenge the guy, and Eriksson had to come in to challenge him (think it was Diabate) who got a shot off that went straight to Lloris.

That kind of thing, and it happened all game today and against Newcastle, pisses me off more than his inability to play anything than a simple pass (and sometimes not even that!)

I'll thank him for his service, wish him all the best, but we need to sell him, or at least he demote him far, far down the pecking order so he doesn't play 29 games next year.

Pochettino: "I think Daniel (Levey) is going to listen to me, but you know sometimes I might have some crazy ideas. With our unbelievable fans, sometimes you need to be brave and take risks. I think the club is in a moment where they need to take risks." #thfc

New contract for Moussa Sissoko confirmed.

I think if we're being predictable then he's a great option to bring on as his touch alone is like a bag of revels; you never know how shit the next one is going to be.

Application is a bare minimum in any football team. It's a no from me, but can't see anyone paying what Levy would want for him.
I couldn't see Levy paying 30 million for him, but he did it.

I'll give him credit for his contribution this season.

That said I don't want him as part of our squad next season.

And when looking specifically at today's game, he was a disgrace.

Cinderella.
