Bambi is many things, but a DCM he is not. Worrying that he's been mentioned as an option.

The way I see it, both the '2' in Poch's 4231 are defensive midfielders. He'd be in the Dembélé role alongside Dier or Wanyama. I can see him in a 3 as well, but certainly not at the base of it (Dier is our best shout for that role, imo).

If Sissoko has to play anywhere it needs to be somewhere where he can't do any damage, certainly not DCM

Far be it for me to question our great manager's decisions but would some of you SC pundits care to inform me of what this guy brings to the team? Personally I'm at a loss to find any positives whatsoever !

Him and Aurier today have given me an ulcer..to add to the all the other Spurs related ulcers. I dont remember the last time i saw 2 players with such a limited grasp of spacial awareness.

He was rubbish. His passing is diabolical. He never looks like he is in total control of the football. Him and Aurier were the clear weak links in that side yesterday.

A player like Sissoko with such poor technical qualities stands out too much in a good side such as ours. He isn't good enough. That said, like last season he isn't a bad squad player to have. His immense physicality plus his experience and thankfully his off the ball football brain isn't that bad, so he can do a job. But yeah, if he had to play CM long term for us we can kiss goodbye to top 4.

He is slightly more competent than Aurier, I still think he could be useful just because of his work rate and physicality. We don’t have much choice now anyway do we? Needs replacing in the Summer though.

Didn't see the game, and highlights didn't show it from what I can remember. Was there much in it?

The fact theres no video replay and a still image makes me think they're making something out of nothing and therefore nothing will come of this.

He wasn't our worst player on Saturday but every time I watch him I cannot fathom what he is good at.

We should limit his attacking responsibilities. His touch is largely poor and his passing is inaccurate

Why not play him as a pure DM in a 3?

He does gets far too much stick, of that there's no doubt - he's never given anything other than 100% IMO, so plenty of the flack he gets is unfair.

However, as a CM with attacking responsibilities, I really don't see it at all. I'd prefer we played Onomah, let alone Winks.

I guess it just comes down to fitness...or at least I hope that's it
