Needs some context was last kick of the game probably mostly frustration didn’t change the outcome (apart from head to head)

That's right, Moussa. Get that shit out of your system when with France and not us. Good stuff.

Starting to look great, but technically reminds me of a duck out of water.

You know, we all say that- and I totally agree btw- but what I can’t understand is how a player THAT inept technically can play some of those frankly beautiful passes that he does. I’m saying every time obviously- but fuck me has he made a few perfect crosses and some gorgeous one-two’s. How can a guy who often looks like he’s new to soccer muster up such fine technique (albeit rarely)? I mean where is this the other 85% of the time?

Possibly something to do with
the fact that he was 20
when he played for us.
He's only 23 now and Sissoko is 29.

Yeh I thought that. He was very promising but after the big contract was very poor. I do like him as a player though, unfortunate that it went how it went.

I've been reading that he's been putting some very good performances in DM since Leon Gorrexta left.

£17m is a bit of a steal now for someone of his quality

Seems to me he was going to get to his level through regular playing.

Poch wants people to work hard for that place and it appeared he didn’t want to.

Sometimes talented players will leave us and do well, doesn’t necessarily mean we were wrong to sell.

I agree wholeheartedly. Its just a shame because he would be perfectly suited to playing DM in Poch's system now alongside Winks I think and we'd been looking at £30-40m for someone with the same level of ability now.

Whilst bentaleb is far superior technically, he made way more brain gaffs in important situations.

Bentaleb was just a kid when he was playing for us. I would assume that sort of thing would have improved through experience. Bentaleb was almost the opposite to Sissoko in the sense that he had great technique and potential but perhaps didn't have the work ethic to progress as fast as he should've done, whereas Sissoko is absolutely hopeless technically but works his socks off. If you could combine the two you'd probably have quite a tidy player.

They're very different players thoguh to be honest so I'm not sure how fair any comparrissons are.

Never understood how anyone can become like that seeing as nobody wanted to sign him until Timmy saw him. He even got turned down after a Birmingham trial ffs.
Definitely didn't help that his reps and advisers were always in his ear, giving him bad advice. IMO he would've been the best Dembele replacement in our team. If we had partnered him with a more defensive minded CM, we could have seen the best of Nabil's attacking threat.

As Slumdilla says above, it's very easy to end up like that if you have bad advice around you. As easy as it is to judge, I reckon most people would end up acting like a twat if they were handed millions of pounds before their 20th birthday. Some of us managed to be massive twats at that age even without all the money  Then you've got all these people around him whether it be parents, agents etc. telling him how the club are mugging him off, he deserves more but they're trying to cheat him out of what's rightfully his bla bla bla I can absolutely see why it turns people into arseholes.
