I really miss BC anti-sissoko agenda now.
Here is a copy and paste from the game thread on the TFC just for you.

"You fucking Sissoko boys crack me up. Did neither of you notice how much better we were when Sissoko was removed from the midfield?

How the fuck you watch performances like that from the likes of Eriksen, Alli, and Winks (a kid who’s played about 250 games less than Sissoko but held our midfield together and saw more ball than anyone on the pitch) and somehow stil have to make it all about fucking Sissoko?

How about giving Winks a “special mention”

I honestly owe him an apology

I’ve been very very critical of him in the past, he’s still poor technically if we’re being honest but this season he’s shown passion and determination and that’s all I can ask for

And in the recent games he’s played like an engine, so fast and strong

Sorry Moussa, hopefully you keep this brilliant form ?

So when he dispossess Messi at one end, then 90 seconds later puts the ball on Moura’s head, playing out of position at right back and exhausted after running all night - you thought to yourself “he’s really poor technically”?

Imagine he’d missed the chance Rise did... blimey

Well, maybe it was because he was exhaustedthat he didn't overhit the ball to Moura.:)

I was the one doing a dance when we signed him last minute, I even stopped slagging Levy for a while, but even I was starting to doubt he would come good. Reminds me of when Bale couldn't get a win for us, I knew there was a player in there but at a point started to doubt he was ever going to come good, I remember the game, I think he was subbed HT v Everton, the rest is history as they say...

Bale played many good games in that period so that's a pretty bad comparison. Blaming Bale for a whole team not winning football matches in that period is like believing in astrology.

He's a fucking idiot really. Anyone could see Sissoko was quality last night.

We created so many chances all night long. What a Burke BC is.

As much as i am enjoying him playing well, im still appreciative that at least once per game he manages to fall on his arse or punt one into the stands, just to remind us of how much he's improved. Thats proper good of him.

It's incredible the psychological effect has on a player. He came here with a massive price tag on his head, the fans were critical of him from the very beginning. Even the manager hardly played him in the first season. He had nobody in his corner for the first season and he struggled. Last season the manager started to play him more and he had a bit more backing from the coaches. So he played better but still had the fans on his back. This season he puts in some great performances and now the fans are on his side and we're seeing the best of him.

Maybe that's why he struggled at Newcastle because of all the negativity he had from fans. He played great for France because he took himself out of that environment and felt the love from the coaches, and the national fans were on side too. That's why we're getting the best out of him now. It shows because everything he does he's so much more assured of himself than before. He's thinking with a much more level head and not feeling like everyone is against him.

Who would have thought last season that we would be seeing Sissoko boss Barcelona lol. What a player when he has confidence

How can a player who has played so many international games for France and been outstanding in a tournament lack confidence for over two years ? It is bonkers but seems to be true. Long may his form continue and congratulations to him and our coaches for such a brilliant transformation.

He seems to understand exactly what's required of him from Poch. I think he can only get better..

A quite amazing transformation of a player. He is dragging this team along with him..the other players must love the fella now.

Major kudos to him..

It's hard to be confident when you dont have any love from the fans and the coach isn't showing the belief in you.

You can tell how much the fan support means to him too, very heartwarming to see him striding over to the fans at the end of every game applauding each other.

Never in a million years did I think I'd say this, but £30m when playing like this, for Sissoko looks every bit the bargain. He still has the element of Zokora about him, but he's looking cheap.

I genuinely want him in our first team every game. He adds so much to our play and the rapid transition he's often involved in is what we were missing. So pleased for him. It's Alli and Eriksen who are now contributing less, but the good thing is others are making up for it.. Son, Lucas, Lamela. Our squad is so much better than it was. Dembele Wanyama and Dier are effectively all vying for the cdm role and could all be replaced by a younger option imo. Winks and Sissoko to support in CM.

He’s certainly a weapon against these small technical teams. After watching 2nd half again he was clear MOTM for me.
