This has now appeared in the mirror with comments from Bentaleb:

Bentaleb hit out at Spurs fans earlier this month , claiming they were 'fickle'.

"Even if Tottenham were on top of the league, I would not regret my transfer," he said.

"We fight and I believe that's also the reason that the fans support us.

"I don't know that from England. If you lose there, nobody supports you in the stadium."

To be fair, if he looked on the match day thread in here you could understand why he thinks the fans are fickle!

He's doing quite well there now that he has settled in, it's a shame as I think he could have played well next to Wanyama.

Hope Poch could somehow put his pride aside and Levy is generous enough to pay Schalke some compensation to get him back.

He's not coming back guys, let us move on. Besides not much he could do to help our team, we need more than Nabil to fix this. Lets say he did come back and then got a season ending injury what would we do then?

Fuck him. Had his extortionate pay demands met then started performing like a championship player. Now he is having a pop at the fans. Strikes me as one of those 'it's everyone else's fault' types of people/players. He isn't what we need on the pitch right now either imo.

Inflated ego like Taarabt in my opinion

He's a talent player - time will tell if he reaches a level where we start thinking "what if"

Even Prince Boateng had a period of time where he looked a player after leaving us but I highly doubt many were cursing our luck that he left

Bentelab will be forgotten as soon as we have a decent run of form again

hardly extortionate. he was one of the first names on the team sheet for 18 months and he reportedly wanted 40k which was still lower than what the likes of capoue, paulinho, and dembele were on and he was rightly ahead of all of them. he only started two games after signing a new deal, i don't see how that's a big enough sample size of games to claim he then jacked it in and played like shit.

I really hope we do not sell him.

He should be here rather than Sissoko.
