Do you mean when playing for the giants of European football FC Vilnius and ŁKS Łódź?

I was just disputing the classification of failure, when people havent read about his first venture into European football as a 17yr old.

I officially declare the Official Paulinho defence club has disbanded.

Its only members, @THFCSPURS19 and myself, will continue to fight valiant and gallant causes as they arise.

There was one moment when I thought he might actually have something about him and that was against everton (i think or was it stoke?) where he hit the ball over the players head to get round him. Then he got nailed in a tackle and that was it (he was actually playing well up to that point).

Stoke.

And then a Charlie Adam special.

Not my favorite player as he seemed to blow more cold than hot and always shied away from 50/50 tackles but thanks to Scolari he is no longer our player. I sincerely hope he does well over there as he appears to be a decent bloke, just not up to the standard we needed.

He was very good against Stoke and got singled out by Timmy but that was when that gap toothed Scottish prick added him to his hit list

Guangzhou's website says "pending a medical Jul 2nd" according to Google translate so I'm going to assume that's when Spurs will officially confirm the move.

I am distraught- first Carrick, then Modric and now this. Why is it that when we finally manage to obtain a world-class midfielder, they always leave us for higher wages? We should've opened up the vault for him and kept him here; him, Vlad and Soldado were going to be the spine of our team going forward.

Paulinho was my all-time favorite Tottenham player after Ledley, and now half my room is going to be empty. In fact I'm taking everything down...I'm looking at the poster of him above my bed right now and he's smiling down at me in a way which seems to suggest that somehow he knew he wouldn't be with us forever. Still, I wanted to believe...

Honestly I can't understand how most of you lot are taking this so well- because I'm fucking not. Indeed, the one and only thing I keep telling myself was that it was inevitable, thereby lessening some of the blow.

I just hope we have a buy-back clause so that he can at least retire a proper Spur.

If we all collectively breathed a sigh of relief tonight at say 9pm cet, would we kill a rain forest?

Paulinho?
Are we talking about the same fella?
Clearly some talent in there but second only to Ledley?

Wish him all the best in his new team. To get 10 million for him is good work considering what he has achieved for us in the last 2 seasons.
