Neither are good enough to start
And thats fine call bissouma out for it as needed.

Calling for hoijberg to start on his own merits is a different shout all together, he is very much a case of someone who increases in value/opinions more when not playing imo.

Exactly, not many would have said to start him in this game. He's good enough to start in lesser games than against a title contender.
I was worried about him in this game, he just isn't the right fit for the fixture. We do need to replace him in the summer but he has his uses until then.

Give it a couple of weeks people will be calling for him to start again or saying we should keep him next year. I’ll say, it’s impressive how he manages to convince people in here. Bisoumma gets abuse for a lot better performances than that. He’s lazier off the ball than Bisoumma but he’s got the persona where people don’t want to see it.
💯 he’s not good enough, just like Ben Davies isn’t good enough but both are great pros and good guys so our fans keep kidding themselves that these players are better than they are and deserve a chance etc.

Neither are good enough, just like Skipp isn’t.

I hope to not see PEH or Davies or Skipp in our squad next season if we are serious about going up a level.

I think Bergvall will replace Skipp, just need to replace Hojbjerg with a defensive midfield specialist.

Agree. Still think Ange is finding out a lot about these players. Keeper and defence aside, think there's still question marks in a number of other positions. If you asked him to name his strongest side not sure he'd be able to with any degree of confidence. Even if he was able to, still can't get away from guessing he'd feel he'd still be shoehorning players into roles that maybe they are nor particularly suited to.
It's an excellent point.

Ange has changed the team quite a bit in that last few weeks.

Contrast that to earlier on when we almost played the same 11 bar maybe Richarlison and Solomon switching.

Arsenal play mostly the same 11 and it breeds familiarity.

Ange just isn't in a position to do that, especially as the likes of Maddison, Bissouma and Udogie have gone right off it and he doesn't have the attackers that suit his system

Great point and this is a problem.

Shame that we don't have any DM youth prospects to try them instead. Not to throw them against Arsenal for the first time but in the last few weeks when it became obvious that Bissouma is struggling. We have Bergvall on the way for next season at least, although I'm not sure what role he will play exactly.

Maybe Tyrese Hall at 6? but I'm sure others who've watched the academy more can tell me if I'm wrong? I really like the look of him as a deeper ball carrier.
