As for that tackle........ I don't think he meant to tackle the player. IMHO he was trying to shield the ball from their player but the opponent was quicker and got his foot in first.
Yellow card yes but he sure get's some slagging off because of a micro second.

Aurier very reminiscent of Rose a few season ago. Some blunders and a little rash, but so brave, athletic and capable of some great momements.

Point is, it's way to early to write him off. A season under Poch and he could become a great player for us.

He has been incredibly overrated since Day 1 and some have continued to make excuse after excuse for some of the poor decisions he makes quite often on the pitch.

Back-up to (the wildly under-credited) Trippier and I think he'll deservedly stay that way.

I agree for now but I think aurier will become a top player this time next year

Soooo, both Sissoko and Aurier support Arsenal.

No wonder we're doing so poorly in the league - we keep signing gooners...

Almost Every French player of their generation grew supporting Arsenal....So, we should sign no player who grew in France ?

I am so annoyed when people like you blame players who have done no wrong. When Sissoko or Aurier have put on Spurs shirt, I have not seen them not running or trying. Every game they have given their best.Sissoko gets so much unfair abuse, but he has been so professional off & on the field. You cannot point out one occasion they have not tried.

Sissoko may look like bambi on ice with the ball or have a touch of an elephant....Thats immaterial in this context

I dunno. I’ve seen Sissoko coasting and putting in a half arsed effort at times

How good do you think he is?

They both make big mistakes a bit too often, (Aurier passes to the opposition once a game, Walker still gets his positioning wrong) both have very good attacking qualities, Walker is faster, Aurier more creative.

I’d still put Walker very slightly ahead but given Walker’s played 8 years in the Premiership and Aurier less than half a season because of being rotated with Trippier, I’m quite happy to have a bit of patience with Aurier who has the makings of an excellent player.

I believe Aurier is close to Walker in terms of overall quality, not quite there yet because of his defensive mistakes, but has more potential.

I really think aurier will become amazing for us and in a year no one will miss walker

Yeah he makes mistake atm, but once he properly gets up to speed and works with poch for a year I cant see that happening

He's a level above walker on he ball and his crossing isn't that much worse than trippier's + he's a beast

He'll need a season; I've seen enough to think he'll be a top player.

It won't have helped playing for PSG and being used to having everything his team's own way in the League he was in.

I like his bravery and once he gets used to having to use some extra physicality (the guy is literally a walking muscle) in the Premier League he'll be quite the player. I don't think we've seen him quite stretch his legs at full sprint yet.
