I think our expectations need to be managed regarding Trippier. I think he's reached his ceiling, and whilst that isnt world class, it's still more than capable of being at least rotation for a top side.

Yes - he's 27 so I guess from a learning curve he may have plateaued.
He improved so much however since his arrival to now, I thought he would continue on that trajectory. But more is expected of him.
There's no room for sentimentality in the search for success - Pochettino will be ruthless in his quest for silverware as he has shown with the likes of Janssen, Fazio and N'Jie. I suspect whilst not a top priority, if a RB to challenge Trippier was to become available, he will be given a chance (like Kyle Walker-Peters).

Personally thought he was poor, the goal and assist a side. Much prefer Trippier. He seems a good bloke but his currently not good enough.

In the first few games he showed some flair with intelligent attacking movement and comfortable use of both feet, he seems to have faded but still loves to get forward, a full pre season should do the trick

Aurier just isn’t getting any better. He’s a liability. If it’s not giving away a foul, it’s a pen or a foul throw. He just doesn’t seem to cut it for us. It’s like he doesn’t have a football brain. I was expecting so much from him. Hope he proves me wrong.
