Are we guessing we'll find out his number when the new kits get released?

I reckon he'll go with 28, his birth date and he wore it at Lyon

I think we are waiting for Trippier leaving. Foyth will get 2 and Ndombele will get 21(he had 21 in France team)

I hope Foyth doesn’t get the number 2, I’d far prefer KWP get it if we don’t bring anyone in tbh.

Who told you KWP isn’t fancied by Poch? The media?

Probably the fact that KWP has hardly ever featured at RB for us, even when Tripper and Aurier were in really poor form. Foyth starting at RB when KWP was fit toward the end of last season definitely made it seem like KWP was out of favour.

It is slightly bizarre how KWP was chosen to start at the Nou Camp in a vitally important match but then later in the season Pochettino opted to retrain another player at RB despite him clearly being an available option.

It's difficult to know what's going on there. I think he wants him to bulk up and be more aggressive possibly.

Taken from an article written on 27th December 2018-

Pochettino also had praise for right-back Kyle Walker-Peters, who became the first player this season to provide three assists in one game.

Walker-Peters, who made a high-profile error in the recent Champions League game at Barcelona, set up first-half goals from Christian Eriksen, Son and Lucas Moura.

“It’s no surprise to me,” Pochettino added. “I told you after the match in Barcelona that we really believe in him and he has amazing quality and only needs time to mature and show his quality.

“I’m so pleased, so happy because I think his quality is going to help the team this season and for the future he’s going to be a very important player for Tottenham.”

Seems to me that Poch thinks highly of him and that he just needed a little more time getting there than he wasn't demonstrating.

Hoping KWP is working on his strength over the summer. There is potential there imo however he appeared so weak and looked like a boy playing a mans game at times. Certainly not written him off but at 22 now and really needs to kick on. Now Trippier has gone, created a bit of an opening for him.

This is it. I think he great technically and has decent pace but he is easily bullied. If he works on this he has a chance of nailing down the RB or atleast as a regular rotation option.

Was at the open training session today. They separated the main stand into 2 sections, one with the autograph session tickets and the other just for general view. I was in the latter section and thus didn't harbour any hopes of photos or signatures.

Naturally, all players were told to go to the section housing the autograph ticket holders after training ended. But, a few of the lads like Winks, Gazza and Kyle Walker Peters were kind enough to go over to general view section, but will stop somewhere halfway down the line and turn back to the dressing room.

Then, there was this lad who walked all the way down the general view section, till the last fan. Who happened to be me.

Thank you Tanguy for making that long walk all the way to me.
