Toby must've have a little smile watching that game. Sanchez' positional play was terrible I thought, and he often couldn't get his own legs under control.

He's been so steady but it's displays like yesterday in comparison to Vertonghen and kompanys that remind me Davidson is still a kid and we could use experience I'm games of this type

Which Toby are you talking about ? The one who has been poor since his return from injury or the Toby of 2 years go ?

Mentally moved on a while ago tbh.

His life; gotta accept it. He doesn't wanna be here.

Gave us everything whilst he was here and played a critical role in our development under poch.

Can't ask for more than that.

Cheers Toby.

Cya.

Not sure Sanchez did too much wrong yesterday. In fact but for 2 or 3 last minute tackles by him it could have been much worse. And it was only his pace that saved those. For me it’s a bit swings and roundabouts with him and Toby. What you may lose a bit in experience and positioning you gain in his ability to save the day with his pace.

Oh come now, let's not pretend he isn't world class.

He's been frozen out, it's not like he's been playing any real games to be considered ' poor ' , he's never bloody returned!

If you're SAF, with your record of "knocking Liverpool off their perch", then you're rather impregnable. There's a major reason The Kop paraded a banner proclaiming "Come Back When You've Won 18" - like Neymar's buyout clause, they thought it impossible in their lifetimes. Now United have 20 and Liverpool are still on 18.

Poch isn't remotely a SAF. He's a SFA - won sweet fuck all.

For us he's a saviour, SGA -Spurs Great Again.

SAF acknowledged selling Jaap Stam was an error, quite a significant one. I'd like our SGA to avoid the same with Toby - forgive and forget.

Sounds like Toby wants to leave.

If Toby watched that with a smile on his face I wouldn't want him here, anyway. I'd much rather here that he was giving Sanchez advice etc.

Maybe he doesn't but wanted to maximise his earnings, something no one can object to, particularly when seeing Levy wants to do exactly the same, and screw the fans for all they're worth.

Yeah ok then. So what you're actually saying is give him whatever he wants regardless, even if that's £200k a week and a release clause. Basically just bend over and give in to him and his agent assuming it's simply money he wants. Let's do that for all our players. Then you can get pissy again in the future when the ticket prices go up once more.

Stam's transfer had nothing to do with contracts or his desire to leave, He wrote book and made a fatal error with some of his observations and criticisms, which Fergie was furious with

Congatulations, on your straw man! Exactly what I didn't say.

Integrate a highly valued and skilful player back into the fold, particularly yesterday when his presence was greatly missed, as his advice on a new deal has been highly inadvisable.

I can see why you name yourself tiger - a lone ruthless carnivore, preying on old deers, having no sense of valuing arguments, judging decisions, or weighting opinions. It's a great name and why I always pick up that old tiger bread in supermarkets.

666? Your usual doofus.

You never said any of this the first time round.

The rest is a deflection as you are literally saying do whatever it takes.

Same old same old.
