Odd how you're so certain that person A is right and person B is wrong.
ITK is for insight and should be appreciated as such, it's not gospel.

That's true of course mate. And any party could prove to be right if they're giving info at differing time lines on any particular deal etc.
But its fair to say some are much more privy and therefore reliable. Journo's are also trying to sell stories, the more credible ones are more likely to have some foundation to what they're reporting though. But for me JJ is very privy to what we're doing and in the ever changing nature of it all, is close enough to be in the loop constantly. Can't get more reliable/accurate than that IMO.

Not sure about him. Thought Fonte had the better season. Was more impressed with Lovren at Soton and look how that worked out. The idea of Alderweireld and Vertonghen as CBs really worries me too. I'm not sure he's the type of CB we need.
Pretty sure if you put Wanyama and Schneiderlin in front of our back 4 we'd see far far less goals conceded. CM is what we need solving.

Saints defence had more protection no doubting that. Still think the most important thing about your two centre backs is their understanding and communication.
Jan and him have played together since they were kids for Belgium and with Ajax. It's such an advantage and would take hundreds of hours on the training pitch to replicate that.
Because of Ledley's injuries and the changes we've seen in the position we haven't had a real partnership there for years.
Milos V will be 20 in September, and his ability to play as a holding midfielder makes him a good squad option. But he played CB throughout Serbia's successful U20 World Cup campaign.
If we sign Toby A, then I think we'll sell Fazio as well as Vlad & Younes.
Fazio may be of interest to Atletico Madrid as a squad CB, as part of some "understanding" rather than a formal deal.
