As a lawyer with some knowledge of this side of things, many high profile social media accounts are run by PR etc, but that doesn't mean the players don't post anything themselves. It's usually a combination of both.

Indeed. I know a lot of the Instagram accounts have a good portion of things posted by the players themselves.

I think we've already established it can't be both. Either the players are followed around 24/7 by their PR team who films and catalogs their entire life OR they have complete control and part of Spurs coaching philosphy centers on video editing and graphic design.

Quite ominous he wasn’t playing in the recent team UNO competition they were having

Clearest sign he is off IMO

He's being very active on social media recently. Congratulating players for scoring, posting enthusiasticly about matches he's not involved in and saying "we" a lot

His PR team may just be playing nice and trying to keep the fans onside but otherwise it doesn't sound like someone who wants to fuck off to earn some more money

His PR Team actually hacked his phone and set it to always correct "Fuck you" to "Great job"

First of all let not pretend he isn't a quality player to soften the blow of his possible departure.

Lets also not write him off as a bad character. He has played excellently and consistently for us and shown captaincy qualities.

The last 2 seasons many non-Spurs pundits among others rated him as the best centre back in the Prem.

If he does leave it is likely to be due to the quality of the team offering rather than simply us "not paying him what he wants."

If Man City, PSG, Bayern or one of the top 2 Spanish clubs offer he likely to want to move, especially given the stage of the careeer he is at.

Essentially as fans we first need to understand that we are not constantly selling our players. But at the same time sometimes a player gets to the stage of his career when he wants to move on.

As a club the concern is whether we have properly planned for such events.

Sanchez has been excellent and even in high profile games I am happy to see him partnering Verts in centre back.

If we sold Alderweireld this summer I don't think we'd even replace him. Move Dier to centre back and Foyth as 4th choice and we'd be well stocked in defence.

Every club sells at some point. We are well-prepared.

As awesome as Sanchez & Vertonghen have been these past few months, it was easy to forget the significance which Toby has on our back 4, lets all pray his contract situation gets resolved

Just speculating, but I reckon we'd have got through the Juventus tie had (a fit) Toby played in both games.

Are they going to give him more than Harry?.........Thats a £140,000 before bonus's

True but there''ll probably be a a few contract extensions this summer to coincide with the stadium move. I wouldn't be surprised if Kane's next contract is pushing £200,000 pw.
