I was hoping that Toby would of signed up by now and there is no argument he has been a rock for us. Imo I think leaving whl and getting new stadium with bigger pitch has and will change the way we have to play. If we play trippier Toby Jan Davies as a back four it will probably be the slowest back 4 in prem with our new bigger pitch will be suicide. Losing walker and roses pace on the cover is massive. Sanchez has pace and is the future so can see why poch wants to keep him in over Toby.

The Wembley pitch is slightly bigger than our new stadium pitch and we haven’t needed to change.

Also same size as most other new stadium pitch size.

We did have to change tactics tho as we were playing a back 3 until Toby's injury and couldn't fit son in the side. Losing Toby made poch go to a back 4 and playing son which coincided with our home form improvement.

Nothing to do with the pitch size though.

We had Waynama out too meaning we didn’t have a 3rd cb to throw in.

That is true on injury front. I just feel after losing walker and rose seeming to have lost a bit of pace after injury we won't be able to play that high line as other than Sanchez we don't have any real pace. I think poch has opted for Sanchez over Toby going forward as he can cover

If he dont want to play here, we dont need him.
Sell him.
But I wont want to see him in another PL club. Out of the country or rot on the bench.

My two cents, after watching us smash chelsea...without toby :)

Where's the Toby tweet congratulating his teammates performance today?

Can’t be long....

It’s his choice. Class, class player but if he wants out, he goes. Poch not picking him at all tells us all we need to know.

Don’t buy in to the Poch project and it’s curtains.

Abroad, don’t even entertain offers from anyone in England. Simple as that.

Poch is the most important person at the club, more important than any player. Brilliant - how it should be.

Sir Alex was the same at United ... Van Nistlerooy, Beckham, Stam, Keane ... they all got fcuked off by the main man when they were not the best cog for part of his machine.

Also, people do have short memories .... at this time last year the majority on here were saying Trippier was possibly better than Walker, cash in and we won't be any weaker.

A large minority were saying Tripps was better than Walker

It’s a human trait whereby if someone’s with you he’s brilliant but as soon as he’s off or seems to be against you he’s not all that

Like when we buy a player or a transfer falls through!

Never rated Toby, always reminded me of John Lacey

Much better off without him!!

He's just Gary Doherty with a better proportioned face and less flexibility.

Bite the hand off of anyone that offers £20m :cautious:

CCV is already better than Toby was at the age of 5 :cautious:

We have beaten Real Madrid, Dortmund, United, Arsenal and Chelsea without him this season. Of course the squad is better with him in it but if we can get £50m for him, that's pretty good business. Some people are saying we shouldn't buy someone to replace him but I disagree. Someone like Tah or De Ligt would be great.
