Quick question, sell to Man U this summer for £40m or risk losing him to Arsenal next summer for £25m?

I genuinely think we need to move him on this summer as a matter of urgency unless all is forgiven and he is able to sign up

Sell to the highest bidder. Doesn't matter who it is. (assuming this highest bidder is more than nominally higher than the 2nd place bidder)

We're better than Arsenal still if they have Toby, we are not better than ManU if they have Toby.

Would you really want to see Toby go to Arsenal over Man United though? Personally I think we need to sell him this summer to whoever bids the highest should Toby be willing to move there. This clause of his really is a pain in the arse

Yeah, fuck him if he wants to go to Arsenal. I care about Spurs and how we stack against the rest of the league. Selling one of the best CB's in the league to the team that finished directly ahead of us is a bullshit move.

Not sure I agree with that when he can go to Man U a year later regardless. I see what you're saying but Toby has us by the nuts with this one, the only out we have is that if we hold tight, he'll be 30 by the time that clause kicks in and the vultures circle

Cool, thats one more season we have with one of the best CB's in the league. If we aren't bringing in Zaha/Martial/fucking anybody then I want to see more of 3atb with Eriksen in the Dembele role.

If he has burned bridges, as has been strongly suggested, you won't see much of him...maybe a few League and FA cup matches.

Which would be disappointing as he should play in the biggest matches as it was seen how we missed him in those.

I'll knock Daniel Levy as much as the next guy but I'm glad he's negotiating the deal. No way he cracks this early.

Sorry mate but this isn’t FM, if he’s spit in the face (figuratively) of the gaffer and pissed off his teammates then he’s got to go. He may make our best XI on paper but football isn’t played on paper and personal relations are everything when you’re trying to build a club.

Time heals all wounds. A genuine apology and showing true remorse for what happened and I can't believe he can't be forgiven. I mean honestly what could he have possibly done that was this horrible?

And what makes you think either of those have happened?
I mean all we have is what ITK tells us and didn't Hercules say they were talking and Toby was trying to come back, like several times this summer we've gotten that info. BTW never said thats what happened, but just what should happen.

Long way between trying to come back and “genuine apology and true remorse” though isn’t it. Especially when he’s only trying to come back now that he realizes he can’t get as much cash as he thought he could by forcing his way out.

I never said he was doing that, only that is what should happen.

You need to just stop with all this bollocks.
Its happening, it's not ideal, but the world we live in isn't ideal...deal with it.

I'm not allowed to be disappointed we're losing Toby? Cool, let me know how I should feel about the rest of this window.

We're all disappointed.
You're just repeating the same shit over and over and over again.
