If Sanchez is injured, who can we play there against top 6 or in UCL? We are weaker and tactically limited. I give up.

Long term injuries/suspensions then who, Dier. The guy who thinks he is world class as he doesn't have to run and his concentration levels are poor. Passing slow and lethargic. And gives the ball away.

I get Toby has rocked the boat however we will be regretting not getting a CB this window.

We are relient on players staying fit Kane, Verts, Ericsson, Alli( in the same boat as Dier needs to pull his finger out)

Without Verts and Sanchez we are relying on unproven. We are meant to be a top team. We have got away with it for a couple seasons however it looks like everyone knows how DL works which costs us points at the beginning of the season.

I get selling Toby but we need a replacement. If not we will be screwed. We will be weaker. People will say ohh we played most last season without him. I get that too but Sanchez/Verts didn't get injured and Verts aint getting any younger but yet he will have to play every game.

Of course United being United would probably go for it. We seem to get the short end of the stick in regards to the trades between other top 4 teams, think it;s because those club's expect us to rollover and Levy won't.

We're an annoyance they all want to go away.

Smalling or Rojo?? Utd really are arrogant enough to expect us to roll over aren't they. Farce.

actually Smalling wouldnt be terrible if you're worried about CB coverage, depending on how much cash comes along. Sure his best days are behind him but he isnt shit.

I wouldn’t actually be against Shaw coming on top of circa £40m, he’s had a horrible time at Utd but is still only just 23 and has a very high ceiling, he was looking brilliant before his big injury. Very naturally talented footballer who looked brilliant as a kid under Pochettino. Would definitely be useful, especially if Rose goes tomorrow. Worst case, we’d have a young back up to Davies. Best case, he gets back on track and usurps Davies pretty quickly.

As for Smalling, him or Rojo would be more than adequate as third choice centre back, particularly Rojo actually as it gives us a left footer whereas Foyth can shrewdly cover Sanchez for right footedness.

Not sexy additions any of them, Martial would far better get pulses racing, but all would give us proper depth.

Agree on Shaw, not so much on the CBs. Shaw has the Poch link.

Rojo and Smalling have had games where they've been rocks against us, but I'd rather not touch them, they seem like the kind of players Everton or Sunderland would sign and would only fade away over time.
