Sky sports saying Man Utd in for Godin. That would be annoying but would free up an Ath Madrid return for TA after our window closes.

Yerry Mina to Everton so I'm wondering (more hoping really) that the £20 I had on Toby to Barca might still pay off.

I still think the Toby/Martial swap could happen, we just have to prey the Godin deal doesn’t come off and they get desperate enough. Surely from there it would move pretty quickly as I’m sure personal terms discussions have happened with both players.

Before anyone says, yes I am a bit deluded and not ready to give up my BSoDL membership yet

The Toby-Martial swap makes so much sense all round. Both clubs end up stronger and with a want-away player off their books.

This is the one transfer i want to happen more than any other. This alone would make it a good window for us. If we can add maybe Grealish and a Sander Berge type prospect then it would be great

Driving me crazy why this isn't happening!!!!

Atletico have told them to forget about signing Godin...
If all this is true, it suggests they are trying to appease Mourinho but running out of options.
I’m not sure what to think anymore and I don’t want to vent yet but I just cannot fathom that the club would be happy moving into the season without strengthening the squad. We looked exhausted in our last few games and came up short in some of the bigger games because we lacked strength in depth. Absolutely makes no sense

I can see our transfer dealings being linked to this. We know united are getting desperate and as time runs down they will likely come back for Toby.

Making no signings is one thing but making none and selling a key player to a rival is something else though so levy would have to buy

I'm not sure what to make of this anymore. No other team will pay the kind of dough that United will and it's just so not-Levy to accept a lower fee. Barca won't pay much north of the buy out fee.

Levy must be holding out for a swap deal and if that doesn't materialize I'm starting to believe that Toby isn't going anywhere. What a soap opera.

What happens if he stays, which is looking very likely? We're obviously demanding to much money and Poch doesn't want him here so?
