Sorry, can't see it. I think Daniel would prefer to sell him abroad if anywhere. So would I and most of the Spurs fans I reckon.

.

What if he doesn't want to go abroad?? You can't stick him on the ferry and wave him off from the shore.

In the summer it will be out of our hands, any one can sign him for 25m, Arsenal even.

Only in the last 2 weeks of the window if we exercise the extension. There’s nothing stopping us trying to swap him with a player at another club before then for example. Eg. Malcom at Barcelona.

It's still in Toby and his agents hands. They can say no to any deal prior, and have a club ready to bid 25m in those 2 weeks. They are completely in charge.

You realise if we activate his 1 year extension he can be purchased for £25m in the summer right?

Free is in the summer of 2020 though.
Reckon it will take at least 35m in winter of 2019,
Toby decide himself if he'll go for 25m in summer of 2019,
winter 2020 clubs are maybe willing to pay 10m however Toby is likely to say no to a transfer,
then in summer of 2020 he's out of contract.

Next summer, maybe we'll accept a transfer early on to get rid of his wages through the summer, but then again Levy might see the opportunity to force a club to pay 1 or 2 million extra to have him ready for pre season. Levy will try to read the situation, in the end Toby will make the decision if he leaves or not.

Honestly think he gets overrated as a defender because of his distribution. He definitely has this weird habit of miss timing his jump on crosses and jumping under the ball seen him do it numerous times like tonight.

The sad thing about this whole episode is his performances are tailing off with his commitment. Bring on the Foyth

He’d let him go in the summer. Think he’s been great for us but I’m not sure we need two ageing cb and I’d much rather keep jan. Them two a couple of years ago were a dream pairing not sure that will be recreated now.

I'm not sure if its that or he's missing his superior centre back partner. Saying that, it only takes being down a few percent at our level to not have a good game. If Jan was fit I think Poch would be benching him.
