He's improved positionally so much over the last 10 games, he is also passing it simple and keeping possession. The partnership with Dembele is really gelling now and they are beasts in the centre of the park. Long may it continue........Poch is a great coach

He is also very cautious when he is on yellow card unlike last season, he improved a lot in that regard. Arsenal could really use that type of a player, Xhaka isn't mobile enough and can't control himself.

I've given him some stick but he has been an animal the last few weeks. Particularly since the Chelsea game

Such a shame Dembele is approaching his twilight years. Him and Wanyama both in their prime would be such a beastly mid for years to come.

He is so mobile which impresses me most, seems to be everywhere and involved in almost everything we do. I bet Dier is pretty pissed off.

I love what Victor brings to the team, but last night he had a bit of a mare. His inability to play short passes every so often frustrates the hell out of me. It's weird because it rarely happens, but all of a sudden he's giving away possession from short 5 yard passes and it's like WTF?

Even the world's best players have off days and VW has had much more brilliant days than poor ones.

I agree with your assessment of his game yesterday but I'd give him a pass this time.

The whole team practically were poor yesterday. Many of our players had to work overtime to cover for the off form ones and this affected their own play.

He showed yesterday why he is that £11m player that was not chased by any of the other title challenging teams in the summer. He looks OK when teams give him time, but teams that press hard both offensively and defensively his lack of technical ability is there for everyone to see.

Very unjustly harsh. He didn't have a great game, but neither did the other outfield players. There was no tactical discipline. Our left side was overloaded, and Dier was constantly a threat to his own team. Ball-watching, out of position, flat footed. I can go on. Wanyama' game is based on team discipline. If it is not there he is exposed, as would any player.

Interesting how quickly people forget the guy destroyed Kanye when we played Chelsea. The same player who people say have turned Chelsea into potential title winners and potentially PFA player of the year.

Wanyama has been our best signing of the season by some distance and I was far more disappointed with our attacking 4 yesterday who were shite.

He's just won January's PL African player of the month.

I didn't know that was a thing but hats off to him anyway. (y)
